Abstract:
In a multi-deck-elevator-equipped building control system, operating modes of an elevator control portion include a double operating mode. In the double operating mode, only a first cage is permitted to stop at first cage stop floors, and only a second cage is permitted to stop at second cage stop floors that are distinct from the first cage stop floors. A building fixture control portion has a first group control portion for associatively controlling an electrical fixture on the first cage stop floors and a second group control portion for associatively controlling an electrical fixture on the second cage stop floors.
Abstract:
An intake port for guiding new intake air into a combustion chamber of a cylinder and an exhaust port for discharging exhaust combustion gas from the combustion chamber to the outside, are formed in a cylinder head mounted on the cylinder for housing a piston movably in a reciprocating manner. The intake port is opened/closed by intake valve, and the exhaust port is opened/closed by exhaust valve. Openings of the intake and exhaust ports at the combustion chamber side are formed to be displaced toward central portion of the combustion chamber. An inclining angle of the intake valve formed between the central axis of the intake valve and the central axis of a cylindrical bore of the cylinder is set larger than an inclining angle of the exhaust valve, formed between the central axis of the exhaust valve and the central axis of the cylindrical bore of the cylinder, and a bulge portion is formed on the inner surface of the intake port, oppositely to a valve guide for guiding movably the intake valve of the intake port.
Abstract:
After a reducing gas is mixed with an inert gas by a mixer, a resultant mixed gas is heated by a heater and made to a hot mixed gas which is dehumidified and dried and the temperature of which is increased. The mixed gas is injected to a subject from an injection port formed in a soldering iron, and thereby soldering is performed by heating and melting solder with the soldering iron in the atmosphere of the mixed gas.
Abstract:
A radiation sensitive composition comprising (A) a colorant such as carbon black and an organic pigment, (B) an alkali-soluble resin comprising a copolymer of an N-substituted maleimide monomer and other copolymerizable monomer,(C) a polyfunctional monomer, and (D) a photopolymerization initiator.
Abstract:
A radiation sensitive composition comprising a colorant, a binder polymer, at least one esterified product selected from the group consisting of (c-1) an esterified product of a dicarboxylic acid and a free hydroxyl group-containing poly(meth)acrylate and (c-2) an esterified product of a polycarboxylic acid having at least three carboxyl groups and a monohydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate and a photopolymerization initiator. A color filter is produced by photo-curing the composition.
Abstract:
Method and apparatus for preventing reclosing of circuit breakers to reconnect a transmission line when a break fault occurs in the transmission line. A voltage at a fault point is estimated from opposite ends of the transmission line, and when those voltages are not equal, the break fault of the transmission line is determined, the break fault is displayed and the reclosing by a protective relay is prevented. By specifying a fault of the transmission line as a break fault, a recovery time of the transmission time is significantly reduced and an equipment is protected because the closing of the circuit breaker is blocked during the fault.
Abstract:
An electrolysis apparatus has a furnace for setting a silica glass component such as a process tube or crucible, a heater for heating the component, a sensor for measuring a temperature of an inside portion of the furnace, an anode and an cathode for applying a voltage across the component so as to electrolyze the component, a tube for holding the anode, a device for supplying an inert gas into a space between the anode and the holding tube, and a DC power source connected to the anode and the cathode.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a pattern recognition system in which a memory stores four kinds of data including initial binary image data from which a specific pattern as an object of identification is extracted, logical operation designation data, e.g., shift vector data, for prescribing the operational sequence and type of logical operation for the recognition of the initial binary image data, partial pattern location binary image data indicative of the existing positions, in the initial binary image data, of partial patterns divided from the specific pattern, and pattern location binary image data indicative of the position of the specific pattern existing in the initial binary image data, a raster arithmetic operation unit implements a raster operation between two binary image data by taking out corresponding bit regions from the data in accordance with the logical operation designation data and stores the logical operation result of each bit region in the memory, and a transforming or processing unit controls the raster operation unit in carrying out the raster operation based on the partial pattern location binary image data in accordance with the operational sequence and type of logical operation prescribed by the logical operation designation data; thereby accomplishing a fast transformation process for the initial binary image data to the pattern location binary image data.
Abstract:
A silicon carbide process tube which can be used for heat-treating a semiconductor device in a diffusion step, oxidation step and etc.. This silicon carbide process tube is characterized in that the inner surface of the process tube has a surface coarseness of 150 .mu.m or less.
Abstract:
A mechanism for trimming the thread on a sewing machine with a laterally oscillating needle has devices for shifting the amplitude of needle oscillation to a center or zero position and for cutting both needle and bobbin threads. Thread connected to a workpiece is easily cut by actuation of the shift device to move the needle to the center position at which time the thread cutting device is actuated to cut the sewing machine needle and bobbin threads.
