    Abstract: A vehicular heat management system has a first valve body, a second valve body, a third valve body, and a fourth valve body. The first valve body switches a state that the heating medium discharged from the first pump flows in and a state that the heating medium discharged from the first pump does not flow in, with respect to the more than or equal to three of heating medium passing device. The second valve body switches a state that the heating medium discharged from the second pump flows in and a state that the heating medium discharged from the second pump does not flow in, with respect to the more than or equal to three of heating medium passing device. The third valve body switches a state that the heating medium flows to the first pump and a state that the heating medium does not flow to the first pump, with respect to the more than or equal to three of heating medium passing device. The fourth valve body switches a state that the heating medium flows to the second pump and a state that the heating medium does not flow to the second pump, with respect to the more than or equal to three of heating medium passing device.

    Abstract: A vehicle thermal management system includes a switching portion that switches between a state in which a heat medium circulates through a heat-medium cooling heat exchanger and a state in which the heat medium circulates through a heat-medium heating heat exchanger with respect to each of an engine heat-transfer portion and a heat-generating device, a flow-rate adjustment portion that adjusts the flow rate of the heat medium for each of a heat-medium outside-air heat exchanger and the engine heat-transfer portion, an air-conditioning requesting portion that makes a cooling request for an air cooling heat exchanger to cool the ventilation air as well as a heating request for an air heating heat exchanger to heat the ventilation air, and a controller that controls an operation of at least one of the switching portion, a compressor, and the flow-rate adjustment portion based on presence/absence of the cooling request and presence/absence of the heating request from the air-conditioning requesting portion.

    Abstract: In a heat exchanger, a second fluid flowing space communicating with second tubes is formed to be divided from a first tank space within a tank unit forming a first tank space that collects or distributes a refrigerant. The tank unit is defrosted by a coolant flowing in the second fluid flowing space, which is higher in temperature than the refrigerant flowing in the first tank space. With this configuration, heat from the second fluid flowing in the second fluid flowing space included in the tank unit is effectively transferred to a portion of the tank unit which is likely to be frosted.

    Abstract: In a composite-type heat exchanger capable of exchanging heat among three types of fluids, an outside air passage is provided in a periphery of refrigerant tubes and coolant tubes, and the outside air passage includes outer fins that promote heat exchange among a refrigerant, an outside air and a coolant. The outer fins include refrigerant side heat connecting portions configured to thermally connect the refrigerant tubes, and coolant side heat connecting portions configured to thermally connect the refrigerant tubes and the coolant tubes. In a first core portion including most downstream refrigerant tubes which constitute a final path, which is the most downstream side path in a direction of the refrigerant flow, the refrigerant side heat connecting portions is larger in number than the coolant side heat connecting portions.

    Abstract: In a heat exchanger, a plate member of a tank portion includes a first fluid communication passage through which a first tank space communicates with first tubes, and a second fluid communication passage through which a second tank space communicates with second tubes. Either an upstream first tube group of the first tubes or a downstream first tube group of the first tubes, whichever is larger in a pressure loss of the first fluid, configures a higher pressure loss first tube group, and the other first tube group smaller in the pressure loss of the first fluid configures a lower pressure loss first tube group. A flow channel resistance between the higher pressure loss first tube group and the first tank space is smaller than a flow channel resistance between the lower pressure loss first tube group and the first tank space.

    Abstract: A heat exchanger includes a refrigerant tube through which a refrigerant for absorbing heat from air flows, and a defrosting medium tube through which a coolant for supplying heat for defrosting flows. Two fins disposed on both sides of the refrigerant tube include a protrusion protruding toward an upstream side of the flow of air with respect to the refrigerant tube. The protrusion is provided with a clearance that allows melt water generated in the defrosting to flow on the upstream side of the refrigerant tube. The refrigerant tubes and the defrosting medium tubes can be alternately arranged in the upstream line. The protrusion protrudes such that the air can be introduced into an air passage from the side portion of the protrusion even when an end facing the upstream side of the flow of the air is closed with the core of frost.
