    摘要: To maintain the pressure with which fuel is injected from a fuel injection valve uniform during the injection period and to provide for atomization of the injected fuel by delivering the fuel through a nozzle adjacent a swirl chamber from a valve in which a continuous fluid flow is maintained from an inlet opening to a drain opening, an auxiliary valve is located adjacent the nozzle and coupled to the nozzle opening member, typically a needle valve cone, to interrupt return or drain fluid flow so that the full pressure of fuel delivered to the swirl chamber is available during injection time and the swirl action maintained, thus atomizing fuel being injected.

    摘要: A diaphragm valve which may serve as an equal pressure valve or as a pressure equalizing valve of a fuel metering and distributing unit for an externally ignited internal combustion engine. The valve has a flexible diaphragm having a clamped diameter and a pocket in the diaphragm supports a valve plate. The valve plate operatively cooperates with a valve seat of the valve and has an annular recess arranged to receive a spring to center the valve plate. The valve also includes a stationary thrust plate which is concentrically disposed relative to the valve seat, which defines a knife-shaped edge which lies in a common plane with the valve seat and which operatively cooperates with the valve plate. The knife-shaped edge is penetrated by a plurality of radially extending means defining openings therein.

    摘要: A fuel injection system utilized with an engine having pre-combustion chambers, main combustion chambers, a fuel metering and quantity distribution valve, a suction tube and an air measuring member are described in further detail hereinafter. The fuel metering and quantity distribution valve has a control slide member which is controlled in its displacement by the air measuring member. The control slide member controls the fuel metered to the engine. The fuel metering and quantity distribution valve has a first differential pressure valve associated therewith which maintains the pressure difference between the fuel pressure prevailing upstream and downstream of the fuel metering location constant during injection. Structure is provided to change the pressure difference in dependence on engine parameters.

    摘要: A fuel supply line, which serves to supply fuel to a fuel injection system for internal combustion engines. The fuel supply line includes receptacles, in each of which a stepped receiving bore is formed with the bores arranged to surround the injection valve in the axial direction and open both at the mouthpiece and the connection end of the injection valve. The injection valve is held by a holding body with a holding shoulder of the injection valve resting on a holding step of the receiving bore. The receiving bore of the receptacle extends outside the flowthrough cross section of the fuel supply line. A filter element is provided in the flow path of the fuel between the flowthrough cross section and fuel openings at the circumference of the injection valve. The fuel supply line, together with the receptacles, is advantageously manufactured of plastic as an extruded part.

    摘要: A device is proposed for controlling a flowthrough cross section in a controlled line, in particular in a line carrying operating medium in internal combustion engines, in order to exert influence on the idling rpm of the engine. The device includes an actuation member comprising an immersion-coil magnet system which engages an actuation shaft with which a first valve member and a second valve member are connected. The coaxial guidance of the actuation shaft in the valve housing is effected by means of two guide diaphragms held in place relative to one another by attachment to the housing on their circumference. The valve members are identical in shape and each cooperates with a valve seat provided in a valve plate in the identical direction. The air flow may be effected via inlet apertures provided in the tubular section of the valve housing exhausting via the opened valve seats to outlet apertures in the cap.

    摘要: A mixture formation system is proposed for mixture-compressing internal combustion engines with externally supplied ignition. The mixture formation system includes an air intake fitting in which an electromagnetically actuatable injection valve is held concentrically, upstream of a throttle valve. Disposed upstream of the injection valve is an air flow rate meter provided with a temperature-dependent resistor. The electronic regulating device of the air flow rate meter and a pressure regulator for regulating the fuel pressure at the injection valve as well as a supplementary air valve for controlling an air bypass bypassing the throttle valve during the warm-up phase of the engine may be provided on the air intake fitting. As a result, a mixture formation system is attained which is simply constructed and functions reliably, and which because of its compact structure can be accommodated in the engine compartment of an internal combustion engine even where space is extremely limited.

    摘要: A fuel injection system is proposed which brings about an improvement in the acceleration behavior of an internal combustion engine. The fuel injection system includes metering valves actuatable by means of an air flow measuring device, at which valves a pressure difference can be held constant via control valves and the pressure difference is variable in accordance with operational characteristics of the engine. To this end, the control valves are located on a control pressure line in which a control throttle and an electromagnetic valve are disposed. At the same time, pressure limitation elements communicate with the control pressure line and, in the event of acceleration of the engine, reduce the extent of increase of control pressure and thus assure fuel metering corresponding with the operational state of the engine.

    摘要: A fuel injection system is proposed which serves for the improved conditioning of the fuel-air mixture fed to a mixture-compressing, spark-ignited internal combustion engine. The fuel injection system comprises preferably an injection valve at the air intake pipe wherein a conditioning member, pivotable by the amount of air introduced in opposition to a resetting force, is arranged downstream of an arbitrarily operable throttle element, this pivoting action being arranged to cause a pressure drop at the conditioning member. The fuel injection takes place through an injection valve disposed in an air bypass beyond the throttle element and the conditioning member. Due to the pressure drop produced by the conditioning member, it is ensured that, in all positions of the throttle element, a constant air stream is maintained via the air bypass, which serves for conditioning the injected fuel.
