A cartridge includes a developing apparatus equipped with a developer containing portion containing a developer, a residual developer amount detecting device for detecting a residual developer amount in the developer containing portion, and a storage device capable of storing the latest residual developer amount information. An image forming apparatus includes a continuous rest time counter configured to count a continuous rest time of the image forming apparatus, and a controller which is configured to prohibit updating of the residual developer amount information to the storage device for a predetermined period after the end of the continuous rest time of the image forming apparatus when the continuous rest time counter indicates a time not shorter than a predetermined time. This structure provides an image forming apparatus and an image forming system in which no deterioration in detection accuracy occurs even if an unstable toner state occurs due to a long printing rest time.

An ink ribbon cassette is constructed such that it is unnecessary to wind off an ink ribbon at the start of every line printing process. The cassette includes two pairs of reels, each pair including an ink ribbon-winding off reel and an ink ribbon-winding up reel. The pairs of rails are rotatably mounted one above the other on a cassette casing which is detachably mounted on a carriage of a printer. The casing is provided with a driving shaft which is rotated in normal and reverse directions in response to reciprocal movement of the carriage. The driving shaft being provided with two one-way clutches transmitting the rotation of the shaft in opposite directions. Conveying members separately convey the ink ribbons for the respective pairs of reels and are driven by respective to the one-way clutches.

An imprint apparatus for transferring a pattern to an imprint material using a mold includes a substrate holding mechanism and a control unit. The substrate holding mechanism is configured to be divided into a plurality of areas, capable of varying an attracting force for attracting the substrate in each of the areas and to hold the substrate. The control unit is configured to, when a plurality of shots is formed on the substrate, control an imprint operation of transferring the pattern to the plurality of shots which are not adjacent to one another, makes the attracting force in the area of the substrate holding mechanism corresponding to the shot to which the pattern is transferred among the plurality of areas smaller than the attracting force at the time of the imprint operation and suck the substrate.

The present invention provides a thermoplastic resin composition which is produced by a method which includes melt-kneading: (a) a polyphenylene sulfide resin, with (b) a polyetherimide resin or a polyethersulfone resin. The thermoplastic resin composition contains 99 to 1% by weight of the component (a) and 1 to 99% by weight of the component (b) based on 100% by weight of the total amount of the component (a) and the component (b). The melt-kneading step is conducted by employing an extruder provided with an elongational flow zone which is a zone in which melt-kneading is performed while being allowed to undergo elongational flow, wherein the flow effect pressure drop is from 50 to 1,000 kg/cm2 and is determined by subtracting the pressure value (P0) of the molten resin in the elongational flow zone from the pressure value (P) of the molten resin before entering the elongational flow zone.

Provided are a manufacturing method for a blade material and a manufacturing device for a blade material, by which a long blade material can be manufactured without using a large-sized press forging machine. A manufacturing method for a blade material, in which hot forging is sequentially performed by molds from the root side to a blade (vane) tip, wherein when a root-side portion is grasped and a material to be forged is restrained by a mold, twisting is performed on a region between the grasped portion and the restrained portion. A manufacturing method for a blade material, in which hot forging and twisting are repeated, is preferable, and a manufacturing method for a blade material, in which hot forging is performed while molds are sequentially changed, is more preferable.

The present invention relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program capable of simplifying an interrupt processing and reducing a time necessary to the interrupt processing. An interrupt generation unit 140 generates an interrupt signal. An interrupt status holding unit 142 stores an interrupt status showing a cause of generation of the interrupt signal. An interrupt status supply unit 141 supplies an interrupt status stored by an interrupt status holding unit to a RAM and causes the RAM to store it. A CPU executes a predetermined processing in response to the interrupt status stored to the RAM. The present invention can be applied to, for example, a network card.
