    摘要: A cartridge includes a developing apparatus equipped with a developer containing portion containing a developer, a residual developer amount detecting device for detecting a residual developer amount in the developer containing portion, and a storage device capable of storing the latest residual developer amount information. An image forming apparatus includes a continuous rest time counter configured to count a continuous rest time of the image forming apparatus, and a controller which is configured to prohibit updating of the residual developer amount information to the storage device for a predetermined period after the end of the continuous rest time of the image forming apparatus when the continuous rest time counter indicates a time not shorter than a predetermined time. This structure provides an image forming apparatus and an image forming system in which no deterioration in detection accuracy occurs even if an unstable toner state occurs due to a long printing rest time.

    摘要: An ink ribbon cassette is constructed such that it is unnecessary to wind off an ink ribbon at the start of every line printing process. The cassette includes two pairs of reels, each pair including an ink ribbon-winding off reel and an ink ribbon-winding up reel. The pairs of rails are rotatably mounted one above the other on a cassette casing which is detachably mounted on a carriage of a printer. The casing is provided with a driving shaft which is rotated in normal and reverse directions in response to reciprocal movement of the carriage. The driving shaft being provided with two one-way clutches transmitting the rotation of the shaft in opposite directions. Conveying members separately convey the ink ribbons for the respective pairs of reels and are driven by respective to the one-way clutches.

    摘要: Provided are a manufacturing method for a blade material and a manufacturing device for a blade material, by which a long blade material can be manufactured without using a large-sized press forging machine. A manufacturing method for a blade material, in which hot forging is sequentially performed by molds from the root side to a blade (vane) tip, wherein when a root-side portion is grasped and a material to be forged is restrained by a mold, twisting is performed on a region between the grasped portion and the restrained portion. A manufacturing method for a blade material, in which hot forging and twisting are repeated, is preferable, and a manufacturing method for a blade material, in which hot forging is performed while molds are sequentially changed, is more preferable.
