    Abstract: A 5G antenna system is disclosed that comprises a substrate and at least one antenna element configured to transmit and receive 5G radio frequency signals. The at least one antenna element is coupled to the substrate. The substrate comprises a polymer composition that comprises a polymer matrix containing at least one polymer having a glass transition temperature of about 30° C. or more and at least one laser activatable additive wherein the polymer composition exhibits a dissipation factor of about 0.1 or less, as determined at a frequency of 2 GHz.

    Abstract: An electrical connector is disclosed that comprises at least two opposing walls between which a passageway is defined for receiving a contact pin, wherein the walls have a width of about 500 micrometers or less and are formed from a polymer composition that comprises a polymer matrix containing at least one polymer having a glass transition temperature of about 30° C. or more in an amount of 30 wt. % or more of the composition. The polymer composition exhibits a dielectric constant of about 4 or less and a dissipation factor of about 0.02 or less, as determined at a frequency of 10 GHz.

    Abstract: Thermoplastic compositions are described that exhibit heat stability in addition to flexibility. Methods for forming the thermoplastic compositions are also described. The compositions include a polyarylene sulfide, an impact modifier and a heat stabilizer. The composition includes the impact modifier in a relatively large amount in combination with the heat stabilizer to provide long term heat stability to the composition and products formed therefrom such as coated wires and cables.
