摘要: A pressing device for an apparatus for imparting a friction resistance to a rotary shaft driving an engine-output control device directly or indirectly to apply a resistance to an operation of an accelerator. The pressing device is a molded product made of a resinous material whose flexural strength is 50 MPa or higher and flexural modulus of elasticity is 3,300 MPa or higher. When a friction plate is formed compositely with a plate-shaped member to form the pressing device, friction plate is formed of a fluorocarbon resin; and at least one ingredient selected from a whisker whose Mohs hardness is 5 or less, a carbon fiber, and a hard resinous powder.

摘要: A container-forming device comprises a container conveyor (21) having a plurality of holders (34) which each include a bottom plate (51) and side plates (52) projecting upwardly from the bottom plate for receiving the container body M1 and intermittently drivable so as to halt the holders (34) at an ear bonding station (S3) in succession, and upper ear pressing member (61) disposed above the ear bonding station (S3) and being moveable upward or downward for pressing upper ears (U1) against an upper wall of a container body (M1), and a pair of lower ear pressing members (62) arranged at opposite sides of the ear bonding station (S3) and being openable or closable for pressing lower ears (L1) against respective side walls of the container body (M1). Lock members (91) are provided for locking the side plates (52) of adjacent holders (34) to prevent the upper ends of the side plates from moving away from each other when the upper ear pressing member (61) and the lower ear pressing members (62) press the ears (U1), (L1) against the container body (M1).

摘要: A video coding and decoding device for encoding and decoding video signal by dividing the video signal by dividing the video signal into frequency bands in advance of coding, wherein the timing of refreshing respective frequency bands independently controlled, so as to realize sequential periodical refreshment of every frequency bands, and an increase in refresh-rate for lower-frequency bands. A refresh-control portion determines the frequency bands to be refreshed, and then sends a refresh-command to coding mode selecting portions. Upon receipt of the refresh command, the coding mode selecting portions transfer intraframe-prediction coded information and interframe-prediction coded information.

摘要: A video-coding device and a video-decoding device, which are capable of assuring the necessary quality of a video sequence even if a transmission error and/or a loss of information occurs in a transmission line and preventing the propagation of decoding error to subsequent images, and can effectively retransmit the necessary coded information when a transmission error and/or a loss of information occurs in a transmission line. A motion-compensated interframe-predicting portion predicts an input image by using a preceding decoded image stored in a frame memory portion and outputs motion vectors. A difference calculating portion determines a difference between the input image signal and the predicted image signal and outputs the difference as a prediction-error signal to a band-dividing portion which in turn divides the prediction-error signal into n hierarchical layers of frequency-band-components and outputs them to respective coding portions. A loop-back control portion decides whether each of the coded frequency-band-components of the coded prediction-error signal from respective coding portions is input to a synthesizing portion and outputs a decoded prediction-error signal. The predicted image signal and the decoded prediction-error signal are combined to generate a decoded image signal corresponding to the input image. The decoded image signal is used for prediction of a subsequent input image. A motion-compensated interframe-predicting portion predicts an input image by using a preceding decoded image stored in a frame memory portion and outputs motion vectors. A difference calculating portion determines a difference between the input image signal and the predicted image signal and outputs the difference as a prediction-error signal to a band-dividing portion which in turn divides the prediction-error signal into n hierarchical layers of frequency-band-components and outputs them to respective coding portions for quantizing and encoding the respective components. Buffer portions store the coded information and output the information to an external circuit. The buffers output respective frequency-band-components of the coded information according to retransmission request signals from a retransmission control portion.

摘要: The relay apparatus comprises the matrix switch 61 and the CPU 62 to which control data are supplied from input devices. The CPU 62 detects whether it is possible to change the state of the specified electronic device according to the control data and controls transmission of the control data to the specified electronic device according to the result of the detection. The control data comprises change control data and reference control data for requesting the state of the selected electronic device to be changed and to be referred, respectively. In other words, the CPU 62 controls the matrix switch 61 so that both the change control data and the reference control data are transmitted to the selected electronic device when it is detected to be possible to change the state of the specified electronic device with control data and only the reference control data is transmitted to the specified electronic device when it is detected to be impossible to change the state of the selected electronic device.

摘要: A system for vacuum-processing objects such as electronic integrated circuit wafers comprises (a) a carrier for transporting the wafers under vacuum in a cassette, the cassette being supported on a movable wall that serves as a bottom cover member of the carrier; and (b) a processing machine having a transfer chamber that is also maintained under vacuum, the transfer chamber having a movable wall in the form of an elevatable stage that sealingly closes the transfer chamber in its outermost position. There is a small sealingly closed interface chamber extending between the movable walls when the cassette is mounted onto the machine. A vacuum pump evacuates the interface chamber in preparation for lowering of the cassette into the transfer chamber by an elevator mechanism.
