Abstract: A fluid storage media includes a plurality of microspheres. Each microsphere includes a porous core with a porous core material and having an exterior surface. A stored fluid is within the porous core. A coating layer covers all of the exterior surface of the porous core. The coating layer includes a coating material which transitions from a first state to a second state, wherein in the first state the coating material is permeable to the stored fluid, and in the second state the material is impermeable to the stored fluid. The coating material in the second state is configured to encapsulate and maintain the stored fluid inside the porous core. A method of making a fluid storage media, a method of delivering a fluid and a method of delivering a biologically active fluid medication to a patient are also disclosed.

Abstract: The embodiments herein are directed to dry wall waste mixtures, formed under pressure into example embodiments referred to herein as dry wall waste blocks (DWBs) and/or gypsum wallboard waste blocks (GWWBs) and tile structures. DWBs/GWWBs mixtures in particular, often incorporate a higher percentage in the composite mixtures from about 60% up to 85% of dry wall waste than other mixtures and beneficially often incorporates substantially all of the wallboard facing paper as part of the composite mixture. That is, waste processing is simplified by comingling core and paper layers in the final product. DWBs/GWWBs mixtures utilize demolition and construction waste, replacing a high percentage of Portland cement with waste-derived binder.

Abstract: A thermal insulation material contains: a dehydration condensation reaction product of sodium silicate; alumina cement; and smoked charcoal. The thermal insulation material preferably further contains one or more selected from the group consisting of a silica-based hollow balloon, a silicate mineral, and diatomaceous earth. The thermal insulation material has, for example, a board-shaped form. In a method for producing a thermal insulation material, a raw material containing sodium silicate, alumina cement, and smoked charcoal is heated to cause a dehydration condensation reaction of the sodium silicate to occur.

Abstract: The invention relates to photocatalytic compositions, e.g. cement-based photocatalytic compositions, and the uses thereof for obtaining water paints. There is provided a photocatalytic composition, which comprises: (a) at least one inorganic binder; (b) at least one photocatalyst; (c) at least one cellulose with very low viscosity; (d) at least one fluidizing agent; (e) at least one first calcareous filler in the form of particles of which at least 95% by weight has a dimension not greater than 40 μm; (f) at least one second calcareous filler in the form of particles of which at least 95% by weight has a dimension not greater than 20 μm; (g) at least one thermal insulator material comprising hollow ceramic spheres with sub-mm diameters, and (h) glass bubble borosilicate microspheres.

The construction process has advantages of simple, reliable, lightweight, high strength and cost-effective. And the non-load-bearing wall has the advantages of sound insulation, thermal insulation, is environmental friendly and durable.

Abstract: A powder adhesive composition having cement, a dispersible polymer powder; and at least 10% volume of the powder adhesive is an expanded perlite. The cement is at a ratio of between 600-1000% of the mass of the expanded perlite. The powder adhesive composition is an adhesive, and the adhesion strength of the adhesive, is over 0.4 MPa, after 28 days, and after water immersion for at least 20 days.
