Abstract: A light emitting capacitor can include a first and second electrode, an electroluminescent layer, and at least one elastomeric layer. The electroluminescent layer, which can include an elastomeric material doped with semiconducting nanoparticles, can be disposed between the first and second electrodes. The elastomeric layer can encapsulate the first electrode, second electrode, and electroluminescent layer. The first and second electrodes can be hydrogel or conductive electrodes. The light emitting capacitor can provide dynamic coloration or sensory feedback. The light emitting capacitor can be used in, for example, robotics, wearables (displays, sensors, textiles), and fashion.

Abstract: An organic electroluminescent device having low driving voltage, high luminous efficiency, and a long lifetime is provided by combining various materials for an organic EL device, which are excellent, as materials for an organic electroluminescent device having high efficiency and high durability, in hole and electron injection/transport performances, electron blocking ability, stability in a thin-film state and durability, so as to allow the respective materials to effectively reveal their characteristics. In the organic electroluminescent device having at least an anode, a hole transport layer, a light emitting layer, an electron transport layer and a cathode in this order, the hole transport layer includes an arylamine compound represented by the following general formula (1), and the light emitting layer includes an amine derivative of the following general formula (2) having a condensed ring structure.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a phenyl-derivative compound substituted with at least two electron acceptors and at least two electron donors. Formula (I) RAaRDbRScC6 wherein a is 2, 3 or 4; b is 2, 3 or 4; c is 0, 1 or 2; a+b−c=6; RA is at each occurrence independently a group with −M-effect; RB is at each occurrence independently a group with +−M-effect; RS is as defined in claim 1. Said compound is suited for use in organic electronic devices, particularly in organic electroluminescent devices.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a polymer obtained from novel monomers, a composition containing the polymer, an electronic material composition, and an electronic element, the polymer, by being added to the electronic material composition or ink applied for coating film formation, improving the smoothness (leveling property) of a coating film to be obtained without deteriorating a driving stability of the electronic element. With the novel siloxane monomers, the polymer thereof, the composition containing the polymer, and the electronic material composition according to the present invention, it is possible to produce a smooth organic thin film. The electronic element including either of these compositions has a prolonged element lifetime and improved driving stability.
