The invention includes lubricant concentrate and use solution compositions having an amine compound of the formula,R.sub.1 --O--R.sub.2 --NH.sub.2,R.sub.1 --O--R.sub.2 --NH--R.sub.3 --NH.sub.2,and mixtures thereofwherein R.sub.1 may be a linear saturated or unsaturated C.sub.6 -C.sub.18 alkyl, R.sub.2 is a linear or branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl, and R.sub.3 may be a linear or branched C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl. The concentrate also comprises an acidulant, optionally a stabilizing hydrotrope, and a surfactant. The lubricant use solution resulting from dilution of the concentrate has an amine compound in a concentration ranging from about 10 ppm to 10000 ppm. Also disclosed is a method of lubricating a conveyor system which includes providing a use solution of the lubricant concentrate composition.

Such fully fluorinated carbon compounds exhibit a very high degree of thermal and chemical stability, due to the strength of the carbon-fluorine bond. Further, because the compounds are fully fluorinated, and therefore do not contain chlorine and bromine, they have zero ozone depletion potential (ODP). The present invention concerns N-acyl or N-alkyl derivatives of N,N-bis(2,2-dimethyl-2-carboxyethyl)amine ##STR1## in which R and R" are similar or different C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 -alkyl or aryl groups, R" is a C.sub.3 -C.sub.12 -alkyl or aralkyl group which may contain an ester group in the carbon chain. Said derivatives are prepared by condensing ammonium halide or ammonium sulphate, formaldehyde and isobutyraldehyde, by oxidizing the condensation product thus obtained into acid form, by esterifying, and finally, by N-acylating or N-alkylating. The obtained compounds can be used for plasticizing, stabilizing, lubricating and anticorrosive agents, and for metal complexing agent for polymers, in particular polymers and polymer mixtures of vinyl chloride.
