    Abstract: A diaphragm valve for a vehicle includes: a diaphragm chamber having an upper chamber and a lower chamber divided by a diaphragm and communicating with a valve inlet and a valve outlet. The upper chamber has a nipple in which a fluid flows or from which a fluid is discharged, and the lower chamber has a chamber opening port at a lower end thereof. A valve rod is coupled to the diaphragm and extends toward the valve outlet. A valve head is provided at a position corresponding to an end of the valve rod and has a wider cross sectional area than the valve rod. The valve head closes the valve outlet when the valve is closed, and closes the chamber opening port when the valve is open.

    Abstract: A control valve of a multi-supercharger system is provided. The control valve includes a first spool rotatably fitted in a valve body and a second spool fitted in the valve body to be coaxially rotatable together with the first spool. A disk member is installed in the valve body to partition a first chamber, in which the first spool is disposed, and a second chamber, in which the second spool is disposed, from each other. A portion of the disk member includes a communication sector, through which the first chamber and the second chamber communicate with each other. A first inlet and a first outlet are disposed in the valve body and a second inlet and a second outlet are disposed in the valve body. A first valve aperture is formed in the first spool for allowing the first spool to communicate with the communication sector.

    Abstract: An engine system according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention may include an engine including a plurality of cylinders; a fuel separator separating into a low-octane fuel and a high-octane fuel based on an octane number; a cylinder deactivation device deactivating some cylinders among the plurality of cylinder based on a driving region; a low-octane fuel injector injecting the low-octane fuel separated by the fuel separator into the plurality of cylinder; a high-octane fuel injector injecting the high-octane fuel separated by the fuel separator into the activated cylinders without being deactivated by the cylinder deactivation device; and a controller configured to control the cylinder deactivation device to deactivate some cylinders or activate all the cylinders, and to control the low-octane fuel injector and the high-octane fuel injector to inject the low-octane fuel or the high-octane fuel into the cylinders.

    Abstract: An auxiliary cooling system which is provided separately from an engine cooling passage in a vehicle provided with a turbo engine. The auxiliary cooling system includes a first line which connects a radiator and an intercooler to each other and on which an electric water pump is installed. A second line connects the intercooler and an intake manifold. A third line connects the intake manifold and the radiator, and a bypass valve selectively directly transfers cooling water, heated while passing through a turbine housing provided on a path of the third line, to the radiator or transfers the cooling water to the radiator via an engine block or a heater. Cooling water discharged from the intake manifold passes through an ETC (electronic throttle control) unit and thus reduces a temperature of intake air passing through the ETC unit.
