Abstract:
The invention relates to a sensor for measuring acceleration and sound pressure, the sensor comprising a first pressure sensitive film (2) for measuring pressure (P) and second pressure sensitive film (5) having a mass (6) disposed thereon for measuring acceleration (A). The films are arranged concentrically in the same plane, so that pressure and acceleration are measured at the same point, thereby avoiding a phase difference between the two measurements.
Abstract:
A process for fabricating a foamed plastic product. The process includes a plastic film that is prefoamed in order to introduce lamellar discontinuities such as prefoamed bubbles. The film is pressurized by a gas under a positive pressure causing the gas to diffuse into the film, forming a second film. Further, the second film is inflated in order to form the foamed plastic product. The second film is inflated by heating the second film at a temperature below the melting point of the second film and under a reduced pressure.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for processing extrudable material, especially for the manufacture of a multilayer extrusion product in an extrusion device, wherein the extrudable material is brought in solid form, advantageously as powder or in granular form, and which includes a central extrusion channel (1) and the stator means (2, 3) and the rotor (4) defining it. The invention concerns also such an extrusion device. In the extrusion device according to the invention it is used an optional number of stator and rotor means (2, 3, 4) arranged packlike alternately one within the other, whereby the extrudable material is first melted during its feed into an annular feed defile (5) advantageously in conical or double-conical form between the stator means (2, 3) and the rotor means (4) after the infeed thereof before the central channel, and thereafter compressed to the final extrusion pressure. The feed defile (5) of the extrusion device according to the invention comprises in the flow direction of the extrudable material first an infeed zone (51), then a melting zone (52) and finally a compression zone (53). The invention relates further to a new extrusion product, which is a multilayer product, and at least one layer whereof includes an interlacing orientation field, in which the plastic is helically oriented or directed forming a reinforcing netlike structure into the product.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a dielectric film for converting electromagnetic or electrostatic energy into mechanical work, and a procedure for manufacturing the film. The film of the invention consists of a homogeneous film layer foamed to be of full-cell type and which has been oriented by stretching it in two directions and coated at least in part on one side or on both sides with an electrically conductive layer. The film is manufactured by extruding the plastic which has been made to be foamable, into tubular shape, performing intermediate cooling of the tube and reheating it, expanding the heated tube in two directions, metallizing the outer surfaces and cutting the tube open to become a film.
Abstract:
An aircraft which includes elements providing air circulation and directing the circulation along a housing. Different operational stages of the aircraft such as take off and level flight are achieved by using the same functionally inter-connected elements. The circulation is achieved by fan elements that allow adjusting the blow direction and the blowing force of the flow. A stagnation point (SP) associated with the circulation is also formed if necessary below the housing and the aircraft can be steered by controlling the circulation and the position of the stagnation point (SP).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a an apparatus for processing various materials, the apparatus including at least two annular feed gaps placed one within the other. The beginning of each feed gap is provided with a grinding section (5), which is followed in the apparatus by a mixing section (10). The materials are processed in the grinding section (5), whereafter they are mixed in the mixing section (10), and the mixture is extruded into a product.
Abstract:
In an extrusion method and an extruder, an annular material flow is created by extruding material into an annular extrusion channel (6). The extruder has a tubular filtering unit (7) arranged to the annular extrusion channel (6), whereby the annular material flow flows through the tubular surface of the filtering unit (7).
Abstract:
An aircraft rotor and an aircraft which aircraft has a body and a rotor arranged to it, the rotor having at least two blades. The rotor is arranged to rotate around a substantially vertical axis. The blades are arranged in such a manner that, when rotating, they form a conical surface, whereby to provide ascending force, the ascending force coefficients of the blades are adjusted to be positive and to provide propulsive force, the ascending force coefficients of the blades on the forward side and on the rear side are adjusted to have opposite signs.
Abstract:
An extruder includes a material feeding device feeding into a radial pump unit. The radial pump unit includes conical screws which are adjacently positioned and rotate in the same direction. The radial pump unit transfers an annular flow of the material into the extruder's nozzle. Additional material can be supplied into the product through the radial pump unit.
Abstract:
A method for producing a homogeneous material with an extruder is provided. The extruder has at least two annular conical feed gaps situated between a rotatable rotor and a stator so that the material to be extruded is supplied between the rotor and the stator. Between the delivery point of the material to be extruded and the nozzle of the extruder in the direction of travel of the material the at least one rotor or stator of the extruder is provided with openings passing therethrough so that at least some of the material to be extruded is made to flow through the openings from one annular conical feed gap to another annular conical feed gap. The invention also relates to an extruder and to a multilayer plastic pipe.
