摘要： Provided are a high strength cold rolled steel sheet and a high strength plated steel sheet possessing improved geomagnetic shielding properties, that is, having a high relative permeability in a d.c. magnetic field around 0.3 Oe, a process for producing the same, and an explosion-proof band or an outer magnetic shielding material, for television cathode-ray tubes, using the steel sheet. An ultra low carbon steel, which has a carbon content of not more than 0.0060% and has been subjected to solid solution strengthening utilizing silicon and magnesium without relying upon precipitation strengthening, is deoxidized with silicon so that aluminum is substantially absent in the steel. Alternatively, when the ultra low carbon steel is deoxidized with aluminum, boron is added to inhibit the precipitation of AlN. Next, the deoxidized steel is finish rolled at 750 to 980.degree. C., cold rolled with a reduction ratio of 60 to 90%, and then annealed in the temperature range of 750.degree. C. to the Ac.sub.3 point in a continuous annealing equipment or an in-line annealing type continuous galvanizing equipment to bring the ferrite grain diameter in the metallographic structure to 10 to 200 .mu.m.

摘要： A control system for a vehicular drive unit having an engine, a motor-generator for acting as a motor and a generator; a power transmission including a planetary gear composed of at least three rotary elements and a mechanism for selectively connecting/releasing the rotary elements; a battery for storing electric power generated by the motor-generator and for supplying a driving electric power; a residue detector for detecting the state of charge of the battery; and a controller for controlling the engine, the motor-generator and the connecting/releasing mechanism in accordance with an output signal from the residue detector. The first rotary element of the planetary gear is connected to the output shaft of the engine; the second rotary element, as acting a reaction against the first rotary element, is connected to the motor-generator; and the third rotary element is connected to an output member for transmitting the drive power to wheels. The controller includes mode switching capability for switching the mode when the battery is in an ordinary state or in a low charge state, to a power split mode, in which the motor-generator outputs a reaction torque against the output torque of the engine so that the connecting/releasing mechanism can rotate the first, second and third rotary elements individually and, when the battery is in a full charge state, to a parallel hybrid mode, in which the motor-generator adds a torque to the output torque of the engine so that the connecting/releasing mechanism can rotate the first and second rotary elements together.

摘要： A humidifier comprises a liquid storing chamber provided in the lower portion of the casing. A nozzle is provided in the upper portion of the casing. An adaptor, provided in the upper portion of the casing, introduces compressed air and liquid into the nozzle. A liquid sucking pipe communicates with a liquid sucking opening of the adaptor and extends vertically downward to the vicinity of the bottom surface of the liquid storing chamber. A float is provided in the liquid storing chamber and is movable along the inner surface of the liquid storing chamber, depending on the amount of the liquid stored therein. A liquid cutoff lever is provided above the float and contacts the upper surface thereof. A liquid cutoff valve, of a liquid cutoff device mounted on the casing is operated by the liquid cutoff lever so that the capacity of the liquid to be controlled by the liquid cutoff valve is small, for example 30 cc.

摘要： An electronic part mounting apparatus enables reduction of the time required for attracting and mounting of a part and is reduced in cost and occupies comparatively little space as composed to conventional electronic part mounting apparatus. The mounting apparatus comprises a mounting head, an attracting nozzle mounted for vertical movement, an image pickup camera mounted in parallel to the attracting nozzle, and a mirror unit mounted for horizontal movement and including a plurality of reflecting mirrors disposed in opposing relationship to lower ends of the attracting nozzle and camera to define a light path from an electronic part attracted to the part attracting nozzle to the camera. When the attracting nozzle operates to attract or mount an electronic part, the mirror unit is moved horizontally away from a position below the attracting nozzle, but when an image of the electronic part is to be picked up by the camera, the mirror unit is positioned just below the attracting nozzle to establish the light path.

摘要： An optical characteristic adjusting apparatus for a laser beam radiation system comprises a transparent substrate which generates visible radiation in response to non-visible radiation, and a stand for positioning the substrate perpendicular to an optical axis of laser beam emitted from a laser beam radiation system. When the non-visible radiation irradiates the surface of the substrate, a bright spot is formed since the visible radiation is generated from the irradiated portion of the substrate. Therefore, an operator can appropriately adjust the optical characteristics of the non-visible radiation at both sides of the transparent substrate since the bright spot can be observed at both sides of the transparent substrate.

摘要： A luminescent screen includes a plurality of columnar luminescent elements made of a transparent material which contains a substance capable of emitting luminescent light in response to stimulating light applied thereto, the columnar luminescent elements having central axes parallel to each other and having adjacent sides held against each other. Emitted luminescent light is prevented from leaking in a direction normal to the longitudinal direction of the columnar luminescent elements, thereby increasing the brightness of the entire luminescent screen. Since the columnar luminescent elements of the luminescent screen are not integrally joined as a continuous unitary structure, any leaking luminescent light from the adjacent luminescent elements or regions is reduced.
