摘要: In the present invention, the histogram model used in H-PMHT is extended to treat the problem of tracking using hyper-spectral data. Completely general spectral density functions are handled via the use of non-parametric methods. The present invention is not restricted to derivations based on knowledge of the spectral character of the source being tracked. The source spectrum can be estimated in a non-parametric fashion based on an initial track, and this allows the invention to adapt to the source spectrum in situ. The resulting method has improved crossing track performance on sources that have some degree of spectral distinction and will perform no worse than regular H-PMHT on sources that have identical spectral densities.

摘要: A container for items such as food products that exude liquid includes a tray (12) with a liquid collection space (34) at the bottom of the tray, liquid absorbent pad (18) in said liquid collection space that includes a liquid impervious upper sheet (30), a porous bottom sheet (31) and absorbent material (32) positioned there between. Liquid exuding products are supported on the pad (18) and the tray includes a plurality of upright grooves (27) in the side wall structure that face inwardly that form liquid channels for draining liquid exuded from the food products downwardly to the recessed bottom panel of the tray where the liquid can be absorbed through the bottom sheet by the absorbent material of the pad.

摘要: Sliced products are deposited in a shipping tray 10 by depositing a first row 71 of the sliced products in the center portion of the tray, moving the first row across the bottom of the tray to a first side wall, depositing a second row 72 of sliced products in the center portion of the tray, then moving the second row of sliced products to the opposite side wall, and depositing a third row 73 of the sliced products in the center portion of the tray. The lateral movement of the first and second rows of sliced products avoids obstruction by the perimeter rim of the tray and the endmost slices of the products tend to follow the curvature of the corners 17-20 of the shipping tray as they are moved toward the side walls of the shipping tray.

摘要: A resistant mechanical combination lock and improvements thereto are described herein to include one or more of the following features: an improved combination change/set feature that includes a tumbler interlocking lever with digitated micro-fingers suitable for interdigitating with digitated micro-fingers on the peripheral edge of a combination tumbler ring, the tumbler interlocking lever and the combination tumbler ring sandwiched between a pair of outer gate rings to form a tumbler wheel assembly; a key stabilization feature in which an internal boss and a pivot recess together help stabilize the change key when changing the combination of a lock to help prevent “lock out”; an improved duress feature that includes a duress tumbler wheel assembly (that includes a duress lever) and an interchangeable microswitch; and/or a fence control feature that preferably includes an overcenter spring and trigger plate for controlling fence contact with the drive cam.

摘要: An apparatus and method are disclosed that provide target motion analysis with the ability for having long-term tracking. The apparatus and method provide a leg builder program that monitors successive positional updates from a target and converts the updates into a leg format. The leg format consists primarily of start time, latitude/longitude, time on leg, and end latitude/longitude. The leg format is continuously updated so long as the course of the target is steady. The leg format further embodies routines that provide for a spherical earth model and also for handling unstable course and speed conditions from a target.

摘要: Methods for predicting the likelihood of development of rheumatoid arthritis for individuals that present with recent-onset undifferentiated arthritis. The methods are based on the determination of a set of clinical markers and/or parameters and determining a predicted risk for developing rheumatoid arthritis. Clinical markers and parameters that are decisive for the risk for developing rheumatoid arthritis may include serum levels of C-reactive protein, Rheumatoid factors, anti-CCP antibodies, anti-MCV as well as age, gender, localization of the joint complaints, length of morning stiffness, and number of tender and/or swollen joints or combinations thereof. The method may be performed by a computer. The invention further relates to a computer, a sample analyser and a computer program product for performing the method and a data carrier with the computer program product.
