    摘要: An engine has a variable valve actuation mechanism that varies lift characteristics of an intake valve. An idle speed control apparatus has a control section for controlling an intake air amount of the engine in an idle state for adjusting an actual engine speed to a target engine speed. The control section sets a control amount related to control of the intake air amount in correspondence with the lift characteristics, which are varied by the variable valve actuation mechanism. Accordingly, the engine speed in the idle state is effectively controlled in correspondence with changes of the lift characteristics.

    摘要: In the case where an intake valve has its phase in a first region between a most retarded angle and CA(1), the rotational speed of relative rotation between an output shaft of an electric motor and a sprocket is reduced at a reduction gear ratio R(1) to change the phase of the intake valve. In the case where the intake valve has its phase in a second region between CA(2) and a most advanced angle, the rotational speed of relative rotation is reduced at a reduction gear ratio R(2) to change the phase of the intake valve. As long as the rotational direction of relative rotation is the same, the phase of the intake valve is changed in the same direction for both of the first region between the most retarded angle and CA(1) and the second region between CA(2) and the most advanced angle.

    摘要: A system for controlling an ignition timing control in a fuel injection internal combustion engine whereby, upon an acceleration of the engine, in addition to a synchronous injection carried out at a predetermined timing during one cycle of the engine, an asynchronous injection is carried out regardless of the timing at which the synchronous injection is obtained. An ignition timing is basically controlled to obtain a maximum combustion pressure. A control of the retarding of the ignition timing from the basic timing is obtained upon a detection of an acceleration condition. A degree of acceleration is determined from a total amount of the asynchronous injection, and an amount by which the ignition timing is retarded is varied in accordance with the detected degree of acceleration.

    摘要: The present invention has an object to enable a torque as required to be realized without being influenced by an operation state of an IN-VVT, which is a variable valve timing mechanism which changes a valve timing of an intake valve. For this purpose, a control device for an internal combustion engine provided by the present invention stores data that defines a relationship between an air quantity and a torque in an MBT in association with the operation state of the IN-VVT, and calculates a target air quantity for realizing a required torque based on the data. The control device calculates an actual air quantity which is actually realized by an operation of a throttle when operating the throttle to realize the target air quantity. Further, the control device for an internal combustion engine provided by the present invention stores data that defines a relationship of the air quantity and an ignition timing in a case in which the IN-VVT is in a maximum retardation position, and calculates a basic ignition timing from the actual air quantity based on the data. Further, the control device for an internal combustion engine provided by the present invention determines an advance correction amount of the ignition timing from the operation state of the IN-VVT. The control device determines a final ignition timing from the basic ignition timing and the advance correction amount.
