    摘要: Some variations provide a process for producing cellulosic fructose from biomass, comprising: fractionating a biomass feedstock in the presence of an acid catalyst, a solvent for lignin, and water, to produce a liquor containing cellulose-rich solids, lignin, and dissolved hemicellulose; removing the cellulose-rich solids from the liquor; hydrolyzing the dissolved hemicellulose contained in the liquor, to produce a hydrolyzed liquor comprising hemicellulosic monomers; hydrolyzing the cellulose-rich solids to produce glucose, using cellulase enzymes or an acid or base hydrolysis catalyst; enzymatically isomerizing the glucose to fructose, using glucose isomerase enzymes; and recovering the fructose in purified form or in a fructose-glucose solution. The cellulosic fructose produced by the disclosed processes has many uses.

The glucosylation was performed by cyclodextrin glucanotransferase using the starch as source of glucose residues. The short-chain glucosyl stevia compositions were purified to >95% content of total steviol glycosides. The compositions can be used as sweetness enhancers, flavor enhancers and sweeteners in foods, beverages, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

    摘要: A method for reducing blood glucose level increase is provided that includes: providing a reducer of blood glucose level increase, wherein the reducer comprises isomaltulose; having an individual ingest the reducer; and having the individual consume a carbohydrate having an α-1,6-glucosyl bond ratio of from 0% to less than 50% relative to the total bonds among constituent saccharides, wherein the reducer is ingested before or after or simultaneously with consuming the carbohydrate, and wherein the reducer reduces an increase in the individual's blood glucose level caused by consuming the carbohydrate. The reducer of blood glucose level increase includes isomaltulose (PALATINOSE™) as an active ingredient so that when the reducer is ingested and a carbohydrate having an α-1,6-glucosyl bond ratio of from 0% to less than 50% relative to the total bonds among constituent saccharides is consumed, an increase in blood glucose level caused by ingesting the carbohydrate is reduced.

    摘要: The invention discloses a healthy sucrose product and a method for fabricating the same. The sucrose product mainly consists of sucrose and L-arabinose, wherein sucrose has a mass percentage of 70-99.99%, and L-arabinose has a mass percentage of 0.01-30%. The method for fabricating the sucrose product mainly comprises the steps of: sufficiently mixing solid sucrose and L-arabinose crystals; or mixing solid sucrose and L-arabinose solution and then drying the resulting solution. In the present healthy sucrose product, L-arabinose is added into sucrose for suppressing invertase's activity, so that the human body's absorption of sucrose is reduced to achieve a healthy intake of sugar. In this manner, the problems of hyperglycemia, dental caries, and obesity, which otherwise may occur after the intake of sucrose, are solved.
