摘要： Concrete can be one of the most durable building materials where consumption is projected to reach approximately 40 billion tons in 2017 alone. Despite this the testing of concrete at all stages of its life cycle is still in its infancy although testing for corrosion is well established. Further many of the tests today are time consuming, expensive, and provide results only after it has been poured and set. Accordingly, by exploiting self-contained wireless sensor devices, which are deployed with the wet concrete, the in-situ curing and maturity measurement data can be established and employed together with batch specific concrete data to provide rapid initial tests and evolving performance data regarding the concrete cure, performance, corrosion of concrete at different points in its life cycle. Such sensors remove subjectivity, allow for rapid assessment, are integrable to the construction process, and provided full life cycle assessment.

A controller controls the heat exchanger which includes a heater arranged to heat the content of this tank to a temperature comprised between a lower temperature (TINF) and a higher temperature (TSUP) stored in a memory for a specific mixture, and the heater exchanges energy with a heat exchange and mixing temperature maintenance circuit, external to this tank, and wherein the thermal inertia of this circuit is higher than that of this fully loaded tank. The invention also concerns a method for mixing raw material for powder metallurgy, implementing a specific injection molding composition and a specific binder.

In some aspects, portions of the blend that do not satisfy parameters for the blend can be diverted from a receptacle for the blend based on the detected information.

Pulverized asphalt shingle (PAS) material may be used as a source of recycled asphalt oil and fed to a mixing drum with real-time monitoring while making real-time adjustments to supplement the asphalt with new asphalt oil to the mixer. The systems and methods may also be used for monitoring, metering, and supplementing recycled aggregate from recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) with new aggregate. The systems and methods may use one or more processors or programmable logic controllers (PLC) to meter the addition of new materials.

摘要： A mobile construction plant includes two sets of low-profile bins: one set containing granular materials and the other set containing powdery materials. Each of the bins is mounted on a weighing mechanism that pre-weighs the contents before mixing. An elongated dual shaft mixer having a small bore diameter is located below the bins. A set of belt conveyors is provided for transporting materials from the granular material bins to the mixer, and a blending auger is provided for transporting materials from the powdered material bins to the mixer. All of the bins, the conveyors, the blending auger, the mixer, and other components are supported on a small footprint frame that can easily be transported to a job site.
