Abstract:
An integrated fiber cement and foam cladding system is provided that incorporates foam or similar light weight material to improve the insulation capacity of the cladding system. The system includes at least a fiber cement layer and a foam layer disposed on the backside of the fiber cement layer. The system improves the R-value of the building, a measure of the building's resistance to transferring heat or thermal energy.
Abstract:
A flooring system including at least two sets of flooring panels. A first set of flooring panels having a first shape and recessed grooves on the opposite lateral sides. The first set of panels being constructed from a plurality of wood elements adhesively affixed together. A second set of flooring panels having a second shape and an integral tongue protruding from the opposite lateral sides. The second set of panels being constructed at least one wood element. The first set of panels and second set of panels are connected by mating the tongue and groove. The resulting connection between the panels forming a floor with substantially flush upper surface.
Abstract:
Building panels, especially floor panels are shown, which are provided with a locking system including several separate strip parts connected to the panel edge.
Abstract:
A process for the manufacturing of a decorative surface element, which element comprises a base layer and a decorative upper surface. A radiation curing lacquer is printed in a predetermined pattern as an uppermost layer on the decorative upper surface. The radiation curing lacquer covers only parts of the decorative upper surface whereby the lacquer is exposed to radiation whereby it cures. A surface structure is hereby achieved.
Abstract:
A floor board assembly convenient to lay is characterized in that, in one embodiment, it comprises a frame, a filler board and an upper material with the frame and filler board affixed to the underside of the upper material. The frame includes latch tongues that extend outwardly from the lower side edges of the frame, and the tongues have locking projections that fit into recesses arranged just inside the periphery of the underside of the frame. The tongues and intervening spaces (with locking bars behind them) are space along the periphery of the board, such that any side of one board may be joined to any side of a similarly configured board. The upper material may be selected from a variety of materials, including LVT (luxury vinyl tile), carpet, high pressure laminate or other decorative material. The filler board may be selected to accomplish reduced cost, and/or improved acoustics. In other embodiments, a frame and/or upper material may be absent. The floor board assembly requires a lower manufacture cost and lower equipment investment, has stable quality, versatility and ease of installation.
Abstract:
Floor covering, including hard floor panels which, at least at the edges of two opposite sides, are provided with coupling parts, cooperating which each other, substantially in the form of a tongue and a groove, wherein the coupling parts are provided with integrated mechanical locking elements which prevent the drifting apart of two coupled floor panels in a direction (R) perpendicular to the related edges and parallel to the underside of the coupled floor panels, and provide a snap-action coupling.
Abstract:
A floor panel includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate. The top layer is composed of a print and a transparent thermoplastic layer having a thickness of 0.5 mm or less and is situated above the print. The floor panel, at least on two opposite edges, is provided with a straight or curved chamfer extending to below the global level of the print.
Abstract:
A panel may include at least a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate. The top layer may include a vinyl-based synthetic material layer. The substrate may be a wood-based substrate. A primer may be provided between the substrate and the vinyl-based synthetic material layer.
Abstract:
Building panels, especially floor panels are shown, which are provided with a locking system including several separate strip parts connected to the panel edge.
Abstract:
A stair tread overlay includes a tread and a front nosing attached to a front edge of the tread by a tongue and groove joint to provide a strong mechanical joint between the nosing and tread. Adhesive may be applied at the tongue and groove joint to enhance the strength of the joint. A horizontally symmetrical side nosing having a profile matching the profile of the front nosing may be attached an edge of the tread adjacent to the front nosing. The stair tread and nosings may be in the form of a kit used to cover an existing staircase to enhance the appearance of the staircase. The method of making the overlay is also disclosed.
