    Abstract: A self healing high energy glass capacitor is provided. The capacitor can have a glass layer with a top surface and a bottom surface. A top sacrificial layer can extend across the top surface and a bottom sacrificial layer can extend across the bottom surface. In addition, a top electrode can extend across the top sacrificial layer and a bottom electrode can extend across the bottom sacrificial layer. In some instances the glass capacitor has an energy breakdown of at least 6 joules per cubic centimeter.

    Abstract: Generally described, the present disclosure relates to footwear. More specifically, this disclosure relates to a shoelace protector and methods thereof. In one illustrative embodiment, the shoelace protector can include a fastening member, enclosure and upper section. The fastening member can be inserted into to an eyelet of a shoe to properly support the shoelace protector. The shoelace can be strung into the fastening member and through the enclosure. The enclosure can surround the shoe lace on an exterior portion of the shoe. The shoelace can then be placed through the upper section. The upper section can provide a narrow slit such that the shoelace can be fit therethrough. One or more shoelace protectors can be fitted into the eyelets of the shoe. The protectors can be positioned on the lower eyelets such that the bend created by the eyelet on the shoelace can be protected during use.

    Abstract: This disclosure relates to a shoelace protector and methods thereof. In one shoelace protector, as disclosed herein, enclosure can be coupled to the eyelet and the upper section of the shoe. Instead, of using the fastening member to secure those components, eyelets can be incorporated with those features. The eyelets having the additional appendages can be incorporated when the shoe is manufactured or during use. The shoelace can be strung into the eyelet and through the bottom portion of the protector connecting with the eyelet. A top portion of the protector can surround the shoe lace on an exterior portion of the shoe. The shoelace can then be placed through the protector. In another embodiment, the protector does not have to be attached to the eyelet, but can be coupled to the vamp sections of the shoes removing the need for the fastening member.

    Abstract: A filter assembly for collecting material that is entrained in a gas stream includes a housing having inlet and outlet ports for the gas that is to be filtered. The housing includes an end cap in which at least one of the ports is provided, and a body section in which a tubular filter can be located arranged for the gas stream to flow through its wall provided by a filter medium, the end cap and the body section being separable to allow access to the inside of the housing. A tubular member, which might be a filter element or a conduit for directing a flow of gas to a filter element, can be sealingly connected to the end cap in fluid communication with one of the ports therein. The tubular member includes a tang which can be received in a recess in the housing when the tubular member and the housing end cap are properly assembled.
