    摘要: In a polysiloxane molding composition which can be cured to give flame-repellent products, comprising(a) a diorganopolysiloxane of the formula ##EQU1## in which n is 1.9 to 2.05, andR.sup.1 is an alkyl, alkenyl and/or or aryl radical with 1-8 C-atoms,(b) finely divided TiO.sub.2 with a surface area, measured by the BET method, greater than 20 m.sup.2 /g and a particle size less than 0.5 .mu.m,(d) platinum and/or one of its sulphur-free compounds, and(e) a curing agent,the improvement which comprises about 0.05 to 10% by weight of (a) to (e) of nitrogen compound of the formula ##STR1## in which R is H, phenyl, alkyl with 1-6 C-atoms, tolyl, nitrile, --NHR.sup.2, --CH.sub.2 OR.sup.2, --CH.sub.2 COOR.sup.2, --C(.dbd.NH)NHR.sup.2, --CO--NH--R.sup.2 or (R.sup.1).sub.2 C--,R.sub.2.sup.1 is H, alkyl with 1-6 C-atoms, Si(CH.sub.3).sub.3 -- or R,R.sup.2 is H or --CO--R, andZ is NH, O or NR,or a salt thereof. Articles molded therefrom and then cured are of enhanced flame-repellency.

    摘要: A graft copolymer comprising (I) as a first polymeric moiety an organopolysiloxane with OH functional groups, (II) as a second polymeric moiety a polyester-urethane and, (III) units of vinyl monomers, units of the first and second polymeric moieties being linked via vinyl polymer bridges, all these units having been polymerized in the presence of mixtures of the first and second polymeric moieties, is produced by polymerizing a suitable monomer dispersion. The product is suited for replacing all or some of the organopolysiloxane component in room temperature curable compositions containing organopolysiloxanes, silane cross-linking agents and a curing catalyst.

    摘要: A process for converting the low-boiling constituents formed in the preparation of methylchlorosilane to the Muller-Rochow process and which consist essentially of tetramethylsilane, dimethylmonochlorosilane and 2-methylbut-2-ene into a product mixture consisting essentially of trimethylchlorosilane, dimethylchlorosilane and C.sub.2 -.sub.20 alkyldimethylchlorosilanes or C.sub.6-10 -aryldimethylchlorosilanes, comprising contacting the low-boiling product mixture with AlCl.sub.3, AlOCl and/or AlBr.sub.3, together with hydrogen chloride, in the liquid phase at about 40.degree. to +25.degree. C. The mixture prior to conversion may be contacted with HCl and either ZnCl.sub.2 or active charcoal and/or an olefin may be added thereto.

    摘要: In the preparation of catalytic copper with an average particle size between about 0.1 and 100 microns and a copper-I oxide content of about 3 to 100% by oxidation of a Cu powder, the improvement which comprises carrying out the oxidation with oxygen at a reduced partial pressure compared with that of air, the resulting catalyst being of enhanced catalytic activity especially for the reaction of hydrocarbon chlorides with silicon for the production of organochlorosilanes (Rochow synthesis) wherein the desired material is produced in higher yield and greater selectivity.
