The present invention provides a semiconductor device which is stably operated even with respect to heat generated upon its operation and makes no use of an environmental harmful substance (lead). The semiconductor device includes a support plate for supporting a semiconductor chip and the semiconductor chip fixed onto the support plate with an adhesive interposed therebetween. The semiconductor chip is fixed to the support plate by a highly thermal conductive adhesive and a high junction strength adhesive provided so as to separate bonding areas from one another. The highly thermal conductive adhesive is provided in plural places within the whole fixing area. The highly thermal conductive adhesive is associated with a heated portion of the semiconductor chip. The high junction strength adhesive is provided so as to surround the highly thermal conductive adhesive. Both the adhesives do not contain lead corresponding to the environmental harmful substance.

A Local Area Network (LAN) is disclosed in which each node includes means for receiving clock signal information from an external network, which may by way of example be another LAN or a wide area network (WAN), and for generating therefrom clock signals for each node of the local network to accommodate synchronous information exchanges with the external network. Any one of the nodes of the local LAN network may act as a Control Node, and any one of the remaining nodes upon instruction from the Control Node may act as a primary Transmission Node for generating clock signals based upon the external network clock signals for all of the nodes of the local LAN network.

An energy recovering system in a hydraulic lift device of a battery operated industrial truck. With the system, working oil can be supplied to other hydraulic actuators while energy recovering operation is performed by the hydraulic lift device, occurrence of pressure pulsation in the working oil can be prevented, and energy recovering efficiency is increased. The hydraulic lift device comprises a lift cylinder (1) for lifting a fork F, an electric motor (4) rotated by power supply from a battery (5), a hydraulic pump (3) for supplying pressurized oil to the lift cylinder (1), a control valve (14) disposed in a pressurized oil supply path (23), and a controller (17). The controller (17) controls the opening of the control valve (14) and rotation speed of the electric motor (4) which functions as an electric generator driven by the hydraulic pump (3) rotated by the action of the pressurized oil returning from the lift cylinder (1) when a load is lowered so that the generated electricity charges the battery (5) to recover the potential energy of the load.
