    Abstract: A mobile application executable on at least one mobile device for associating actions with a plurality of independent geographic locations and a system for implementing the actions are provided. The system and mobile application carry out a method including the steps of configuring a graphical user interface to include a map and requesting the user to select a designated pin location. The system includes a main controller configured to communicate with the at least one mobile device and initiate the actions based on the location of the at least one mobile device relative to the plurality of independent geographic locations. At least one database is in communication with the main controller and accessible to the mobile and away services module for storing data related to the actions associated with the plurality of independent geographic locations and the at least one mobile device.

    Abstract: According to an aspect of the disclosure, a resource management platform, system and method of communicating resource management information for smart energy and media resources is provided. A resource management platform can include an interface configured to communicate media management information and energy management information. The resource management platform also includes a processor configured to detect an incoming communication to alter an operating condition in response to receiving the media management information or the energy management information. The processor can further be configured to initiate an output of media content in response to detecting media management information, and initiate altering an operating status of a device in response to detecting the energy management information. The processor can also initiate storing at least a portion of the media content and the energy management information within a memory.

    Abstract: A gateway includes a processor operable to manage energy use at a site. The processor is configured to receive network device data from a long range communication network, wherein the network device data is initiated from at least one of a mobile device or a cloud service to alter an operating condition of a network device located at a site. The processor is also configured to detect an availability of the network device connected to a second network configured as a local network, and format the network device data to a message bus format configured to be output to a communication device configured to access the second network. The processor is further configured to receive response data from the network device formatted to be communicated using the second network, and translate the received response data to another format capable of being output over the long range communication network.
