摘要: A misfire state discrimination system of an internal combustion engine, which determines the occurrence of misfire under engine operating conditions that make misfire determination possible and counts the number of misfires to compare with a reference value. The misfire state of the engine is discriminated based on the result of comparison. In the system, when the engine operation moves from the conditions that makes the misfire determination possible, the count is saved and is counted up from the count when the engine operation returns to the condition. The saved count is also retained when the engine is stopped. Similarly, the number of combustion during which the determination of misfire occurrence is made is counted and the count is saved. This arrangement enables a rapid and accurate discrimination of the misfire state of the engine.

摘要: When stream video image signal are decoded simultaneously, and synchronized so as to be displayed on a screen, it prevents the disturbance of the displayed video image caused by changing the master. The DEMUX 101 separates the each channel video image signal and PCR from the multiplexed stream. The separated video image signal is stored in the input buffer memories 107 through 101. The master selector comprised of the PCR selector 120 and the STC selector 121 select the master. The selected master STC, the comparator 123, the OPF 124 and the VCO125 comprise the PLL. From the VOC 125 the system clock is regenerated, and the synchronizing signal generator 126 generates the decode starting signal and the display synchronizing signal based on the system clock. From the STC counters 103 through 106 the reference time information of each channels are obtained. The decoding controllers 111 through 114 work over the each decoders 115 through 118 to start decoding based on the decode starting signal.

摘要: A determining unit determines which area in an SDRAM is the area in which image data is stored. According to the determination of the determining unit, a control unit activates a power-down mode only for an area in the SDRAM, the image data being stored in the area. In order to determine whether or not the data stored in the SDRAM is image data, a code is previously added to the relevant data. Whether or not the relevant data stored in the SDRAM is image data is determined by the determining unit using the added code. A minimum of only one bit does well as the code for determining whether or not the data stored in the SDRAM is image data. Instead of previously adding a code to relevant data, it is also possible, for the same purpose, to store a code in an internal register of the SDRAM, the code indicating contents of data stored in the SDRAM.

摘要: There is provided an insertion and withdrawal connector apparatus in which a plurality of connectors can move only in a range of capable of engaging and separating with and from a plurality of mating connectors within a connector receiving body. A connector receiving body (1) has a pair of parallel frames (3), a pair of frame blocks (4) positioned at both end portions, and a plurality of partition members (5). One connector (10) and one mating connector are received in each of a plurality of space portions, that is, receiving chambers partitioned by a pair of frames, a pair of frame blocks, and a plurality of partition members. Each of the partition members has a pair of lances (5f, 5g) having a spring characteristic and each of the connectors has a pair of interlocking groove portions (10g) on both side surfaces. The lance (5f) interlocks with the interlocking groove portion on one of the side surfaces in the connector, and the lance (5g) interlocks with the interlocking groove portion on the other of the side surfaces in the connector. Each of the connectors has a convex portion (10d) at an upper end portion on one of the side surfaces and at a lower end portion on the other of the side surfaces, and each of the convex portions interlocks with each of the partition members.

摘要: An electro-optical element such as a light deflection element which allows high speed random accessing and can provide a large deflection angle and wherein a plurality of of functions can be integrated stably with a high degree of accuracy in a single element. The electro-optical element includes a ferroelectric substrate, electrodes provided on principal faces of the ferroelectric substrate, and function sections each having a polarization reversal domain formed in a predetermined shape in the ferroelectric substrate such that a light beam passes through the domain. The function sections may have a function of for converging at least part of the light beam, another function for diverging at least part of the light beam, a further function for deflecting a propagation direction of at least part of the light beam or/and a still further function for switching a propagation direction of at least part of the light beam, in response to a voltage applied to the electrodes.
