Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE may receive outer coded downlink signaling via carrier aggregation, and may deactivate retransmission protocols and then selecting at least one of two different feedback modes. A first feedback mode may include a radio link control (RLC) status report mode (e.g., which may be referred to as mode 1, or RLC mode 1). A second feedback mode is a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback mode (e.g., which may be referred to as mode 2, or HARQ mode 2. The network may configure the UE with parameters for operating in mode 1, mode 2, or both, or the UE may select a feedback mode autonomously. The UE may refrain from transmitting additional feedback signaling, and retransmissions may be deactivated, resulting in improved power savings and more efficient use of system resources.

Abstract: Some wireless communications systems may support logical channel prioritization (LCP) adaptation. A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling scheduling multiple data flows associated with a set of channels in particular logical channels, where each data flow of the multiple data flows is associated with a set of one or more parameters. The UE may calculate a deadline metric (DM) associated with a transmission time of each data flow based on the sets of one or more channel prioritization parameters and may adapt the set of one or more parameters associated one or more data flows of the multiple data flows based at least in part on the DM. The UE may transmit a first data flow of the multiple data flows based at least in part on a prioritization of the first data flow over a second data flow, the prioritization based at least in part on the adapting.

Abstract: Aspects relate to wireless communication where a master node (MN) or a secondary node (SN) may initiate a conditional addition of a primary secondary cell (PSCell) or a conditional change from one PSCell to another PSCell. Each candidate target PSCell may provide information to be used by the MN to generate a conditional PSCell addition (CPA) configuration or a conditional PSCell change (CPC) configuration that is sent to a user equipment (UE). This information may indicate an execution condition for each candidate target PSCell and/or radio bearers that each candidate target PSCell supports or does not support. An MN may modify a master cell group (MCG) configuration for a PSCell based on information received from a target SN with an secondary cell group (SCG) configuration for the PSCell. The MN may transmit a CPA or CPC configuration including the modified MCG configuration and the SCG configuration to the UE.

A communication device, otherwise known as a user equipment (UE) may transmit capability information including an indication of a discontinuous monitoring delay period. The UE may receive a message including an indication to adjust monitoring of a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH), and monitor for the PDCCH during the discontinuous monitoring delay period. The UE may adjust monitoring for the PDCCH following the discontinuous monitoring delay period during a temporal period based on the received indication to adjust monitoring of the PDCCH. In some examples, at least one of physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) reception, downlink reference signal monitoring, uplink reference signal transmissions, and channel reporting is enabled during the temporal period while monitoring of the PDCCH is adjusted.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A device (e.g., a user equipment (UE) or a base station) may communicate (e.g., receive or transmit) a set of service data units (SDUs) of an application data unit (ADU). Signaling ADU awareness between distributed units (DUs) and a centralized unit (CU) of a base station is described. The CU may indicate that a set of SDUs correspond to an ADU via a user plane interface. For example, a header associated with the interface may include one or more bits identifying the ADU in a payload corresponding to the header.

The wireless communications entity may identify a one one-way directional delay budget that satisfies the RTT latency requirement for an application of an application server. The application server may be in communication with the UE via the base station. The wireless communications entity may modify a value of the one-way directional delay budget and transmit a message that is associated with the modified value of the one one-way directional delay budget.
