A method is disclosed for fabricating a CPP read head for a magnetic disk drive having an electrical isolation layer. The method includes providing a first shield layer, depositing a sensor stack on the first shield layer, a CMP stop layer is deposited on the sensor stack, and a release layer is deposited a on the CMP stop layer. Photoresist material containing Si is deposited on the release layer, and the photoresist material is then patterned and then oxidized by Reactive Ion Etching to form a high temperature photomask. The electrical isolation layer is then deposited to surround the sensor stack using a high temperature deposition process. The read head is then continued as either an in-stack bias sensor with ‘draped shield’ variation, or a hard bias stabilization variation.

The carburetor a carburetor main body (22) with an air intake passage (24) forming a portion of the air/fuel mixture passage (23) and is provided with an air passage (33) that forms a portion of an air channel (32) for scavenging air. The air passage (33) is positioned parallel to an air intake passage (24), and the front end thereof is positioned further to the base end side than to the engine-side front end face of the carburetor main body (22), enhancing the degree of freedom for placing the conduit pipe (34) for connecting the air passage (33) to the scavenging air feed port (9). Also, the throttle valve (26) and the air valve (35) are butterfly valves with mutually parallel valve stems, and the interlocking mechanism thereof has a simple configuration.

The present invention relates to a method of producing a magneto-resistive tunnel junction head comprising a tunnel multilayered film having a tunnel barrier layer, a ferromagnetic free layer and a ferromagnetic pinned layer such that the tunnel barrier layer is held between the ferromagnetic free layer and the ferromagnetic pinned layer. The method comprises a laminating step of forming the tunnel barrier layer and a non-magnetic metal protect layer in turn on the ferromagnetic pinned layer, an insulating layer forming step of forming side insulating layers on both sides of a lamination body having the ferromagnetic pinned layer, the tunnel barrier layer and the non-magnetic metal protect layer, a cleaning step of cleaning the surface of the non-magnetic metal protect layer, and a ferromagnetic free layer forming step of forming the ferromagnetic free layer such that the ferromagnetic free layer faces the ferromagnetic pinned layer via the cleaned surface. Therefore, according to the method, the magneto-resistive tunnel junction head is expected to have more improved head characteristics.

The film shows a linear rise of MR change in an applied magnetic field within a very low range of 0 to about 40 Oe.

In a first aspect, a carburetor fuel adjusting device that facilitates control of the quantity of fuel that flows from the fuel chamber to an air intake port of a carburetor by making it possible for the user to adjust an adjustment valve within the limits defined by emission control regulations. The carburetor fuel adjusting device has a cap having two appendages, and an engagement area to engage a valve extension of the fuel adjustment valves of a carburetor. The cap is retained by the retainer in either a disengaged position, or an engaged position wherein the engagement area of the cap becomes attached to the valve extensions. In the engaged position, the adjustment valves can be turned in unison with the cap within a range formed by the angle between the appendages which, when rotated, abut against stoppers. In a second aspect, a retaining plate of elastic material having two retainer holes adapted to receive and retain the pair of adjustment valves in a prescribed adjustment position is laid against an outer surface of the carburetor body. The adjustment valves each have a base-end portion and a small diameter portion, the threads of the base-end portion having an external diameter larger than that of the threads of the small diameter portion. The external diameter of the threads of the base-end portion is also larger than the diameter of each of the retainer holes of the retaining plate such that when the adjustment valve is screwed into the screw hole of the carburetor, the base-end portion cuts threads in the retainer holes of the retaining plate to thereby prevent rotation of the adjustment valve.
