    摘要: Modified natriuretic compounds and conjugates thereof are disclosed in the present invention. In particular, conjugated forms of hBNP are provided that include at least one modifying moiety attached thereto. The modified natriuretic compound conjugates retain activity for stimulating cGMP production, binding to NPR-A receptor, and in some embodiments an improved half-life in circulation as compared to unmodified counterpart natriuretic compounds. Oral, parenteral, enteral, subcutaneous, pulmonary, and intravenous forms of the compounds and conjugates may be prepared as treatments and/or therapies for heart conditions particularly congestive heart failure. Modifying moieties comprising oligomeric structures having a variety of lengths and configurations are also disclosed. Analogs of the natriuretic compound are also disclosed, having an amino acid sequence that is other than the native sequence.

In some embodiments the player plays multiple sequential game hand by placing a wager, receiving game indicia from the finite set cumulatively excluding any game indicia previously dealt, playing the game hand to completion, collecting the game indicia from the player and excluding the dealt game indicia from further play, and displaying at least the excluded game indicia or any winning combinations precluded by the excluded game indicia. In some embodiments the game hands continue in sequence until a restoration event, which may include a manually triggered restoration or an automatic restoration event, that restores the excluded game indicia. Other embodiments are also described.

    摘要: The collar is disconnected from the leash by activating the mechanism in the handle assembly of the leash. The collar is fitted with a short cable which extends generally radially from the collar. A small cylinder or sphere is attached to the free end of this cable. There is a flared fitting at the end of the leash opposite to the handle end. The collar and leash are connected by trapping the cylinder or sphere in the flared fitting. The leash is a sheathed cable. The tension loads in the leash are carried by the cable. One end of the cable is anchored in the leash handle. There is a second cylinder or sphere attached to its other end and located in the flared fitting when the leash and collar are connected. The second cylinder or sphere retains the first in the flared fitting which is attached to the sheath. When the mechanism in the handle is activated, the mechanism moves the sheath along the cable so that the flared fitting is moved and no longer surrounds the cylinders (or spheres) and the one can no longer retain the other and disconnection is effected. In one embodiment of the invention the mechanism in the handle is reset by pulling the sheath out of the handle.
