    摘要： A sealing device forming an annular band intended to be associated with a rim for a wheel designed to accept a tire, the rim having a rim bottom extended by two flanges, the device being adapted to be fitted in such a way as to cover at least the rim bottom. The annular band comprises at least one elastomeric material comprising at least one copolymer thermoplastic elastomer containing blocks of polystirene and polyisobutylene, and a polybutene oil. Also disclosed is a mounted assembly having a wheel comprising a rim associated with a sealing device and of a tubeless tire. In addition, a method is disclosed for fitting a sealing device onto a rim.

The composition is based on one or more diene elastomers, one or more reinforcing fillers, and a crosslinking system. The composition includes particles of one or more thermoplastic materials chosen from amorphous thermoplastic materials and semicrystalline thermoplastic materials, with the glass transition temperature of the amorphous thermoplastic material or materials and the melting point of the semicrystalline thermoplastic material or materials varying from 80° C. to 300° C. The particles exhibit a volume-average diameter of less than or equal to 200 μm.

The layer is formed of an elastomeric composition that includes a predominant elastomer by weight, a block thermoplastic elastomer, and a lamellar filler. The block thermoplastic elastomer includes a polyisobutylene block with a number-average molecular mass ranging from 25,000 to 350,000 g/mol and a glass transition temperature of less than or equal to −20° C., and, at at least one end of the polyisobutylene block, a thermoplastic block made from at least a polymerized monomer other than a stirene monomer, the polymerized monomer having a glass transition temperature greater than or equal to 100° C. The lamellar filler has an equivalent diameter (Dv (0.5)) of between 15 and 60 micrometers and an aspect ratio (F) of greater than 65.

This gastight elastomer layer has very good impermeability properties and a lower hysteresis compared to layers based on butyl rubber. The inflatable article can be, in particular, an inner tube or a pneumatic tire for a motor vehicle.
