The lubricating coating contains copolymer particles made from particles of an acrylic-silicone copolymer with an average particle diameter of 10-50 μm dispersed in a highly viscous matrix made from a mixture of a rosin-based substance selected from rosin and its derivatives, wax, a metal soap, and a basic metal salt of an aromatic organic acid (such as highly basic Ca sulfonate).

The threaded joint has a first plating layer of Sn—Bi alloy plating or Sn—Bi—Cu alloy plating formed on the contact surface of at least one of the pin 1 and the box 2. The first plating layer may have a second plating layer selected from Sn plating, Cu plating, and Ni plating on its lower side and at least one layer of a lubricating coating, and particularly a solid lubricating coating, on its upper side.

The threaded joint exhibits improved galling resistance, rust-preventing properties, and gas tightness even after exposure to a high temperature and makes it possible to perform repeated fastening (make-up) and loosening (break-out) in a high-temperature oil well without application of a compound grease containing a heavy metal powder.

摘要： A lubricating composition for use in hot rolling comprises from about 20% to about 70% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition, of an overbased metal sulfonate, e.g., overbased calcium sulfonate, having a base number of at least about 40 mg-KOH/g and preferably at least 200 mg-KOH/g. The lubricating composition can be applied to at least one pair of work rolls in a rolling mill during hot rolling of a steel. It may also be applied to the steel itself immediately before hot rolling. The lubricating composition is effective for preventing galling and reducing roll wear without causing slippage of the steel and it is particularly suitable for use in hot rolling of carbon steel under severe conditions or of stainless steel including high-Cr stainless steel.
