摘要: A flexible cable establishes an electric connection between a stationary-side housing and a movable-side housing. The flexible cable is integratedly fabricated with two gasket seals that maintain the inside of the stationary-side housing and the movable-side housing, respectively, in a waterproof condition. A reinforcing plate is laid inside a housing of a movable-side front case to prevent a driver circuit board of a LCD module from getting damaged.

摘要: A carriage block body is coupled to a support shaft for relative rotation. The carriage block body defines a bearing hole receiving the support shaft. A carriage arm extends from the carriage block body along an imaginary plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the support shaft. The carriage arm has a wall surface defining a cylindrical space at the tip end of the carriage arm. A projection is formed on the wall surface at a position off an intermediate plane set perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical space so that the cylindrical space is equally divided into a first cylindrical space and a second cylindrical space by the intermediate plane. The projection protrudes into the first cylindrical space.

摘要: When crimping suspensions to carriage arms using a metal ball by applying ultrasonic vibration to a crimping tool, the suspensions can be crimped to the carriage arms without causing deformation to the suspensions and the like. A method of assembling a carriage assembly aligns attachment holes provided in front ends of carriage arms and crimping portions provided on suspensions to set the suspensions on the carriage arms and then presses a ball through crimping holes provided in the crimping portions while applying ultrasonic vibration to the crimping tool to crimp the suspensions to the carriage arms. When doing so, a ball, such as a ball whose surface has been subjected to a dimpling process, for which a load that acts on the ball when the ball passes through the crimping holes is low compared to a spherical ball is used to crimp the suspensions to the carriage arms.

摘要: A metal bearing having a long operating life that is not affected by the operating temperature. The metal bearing includes a bearing surface capable of slidably contacting with a shaft member, including pores in a surface and interior thereof, and being composed of a sintered compact having a metal or alloy as a main component. A dispersion solvent is provided inside the pores, and maghemite particles exist in the dispersion solvent together with at least one of a gas and a liquid that has a boiling point lower than a boiling point of the dispersion solvent.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a metal-graphite brush material for a motor, which allows high-density formation of copper particles on the surfaces of graphite particles. The method: attaches copper complex to graphite particles; heat-treats the graphite particles attached with the copper particles, thereby to pyrolyze the copper complex to form copper particles on the surfaces of the graphite particles; forms the graphite particles having the copper particles formed thereon, together with a resin, into a formed product; and reduction-sinters the formed product under a reducing atmosphere to pyrolyze the resin, thereby to form a sintered body and also to reduce copper oxide formed in surface layers of the copper particles during the heat-treating.

摘要: A rotary atomizer (1) has a rotary atomizing head (4) driven by an air motor (2) at a rotational speed of 4,000˜5,000 rpm, for example. A coating material is supplied to a central portion of the rotary atomizing head (4) through a paint supply pipe (5). The atomizer (1) further includes a supersonic horn (6) having a vibration plane (6a) located adjacent to the outer circumferential perimeter of the rotary atomizing head (4). The vibration plane (6a) is an inclined plane gradually increasing its diameter forward. The coating material immediately after spattered from the outer circumferential perimeter of the rotary atomizing head (4) is exposed to supersonic vibration from the vibration plane (6a), and it is atomized by the supersonic vibration to particles of a uniform grain size. At the same time, the atomized coating material is driven forward.
