    Abstract: Included are polyurethaneurea compositions include polyurethaneurea aqueous dispersions. The dispersions may be prepared with solvent or in the absence of any added solvent. Films and other shaped articles may be prepared from the dispersions by a casting a drying method and optionally included with a substrate including paper, fabric or garments. The films exhibit a reduced discoloring or yellowing upon exposure to atmosphere, heat, and UV.

    Abstract: In some embodiments are an article including a woven fabric having warp yarns and weft yarns. Either warp yarn or weft yarn or both warp and weft yarns have two separate systems of yarns. The systems of yarns include a hard yarn forming the main body of fabric and a composite covered elastic yarn with an elastic fiber core; wherein the fabric has an outer face side, a back side, and the fabric includes at least one of: (a) a weaving pattern where the composite yarn and at least one adjacent hard yarn pass over the same pick when the composite yarn is on the outer surface; (b) the ratio of hard yarn denier to composite yarn denier is at least 1:1; and (c) the composite yarn floats over no more than 5 picks on the outer face side.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are nonwoven fabric composites comprising layers of spunbond and meltblown nonwoven webs. Such composites are prepared by forming or assembling the layers of the composite such that there are two outer layers of spunbond fibers disposed on opposite sides of at least one inner meltblown layer. Each of the two outer layers comprises spunbond, continuous filament fibers comprising polymeric material with certain Melt Flow Rate characteristics. Further, the fibers in each of the outer layers have been partially attenuated after extrusion from a spinneret to an average of no less than about 1.8 denier per filament. The fibers within each of the spunbond layers are also predominately oriented in the machine direction of the nonwoven fabric composite. All layers of the fabric composites herein are bonded together via thermal, adhesive or ultra-sonic bonding means. Such composites exhibit substantial cross direction stretch but only minimal stretch in the machine direction.
