摘要： A chemical mechanical polishing apparatus has a rotatable platen, a generally linear polishing sheet having an exposed portion extending over a top surface of the platen for polishing the substrate, and a drive mechanism to incrementally advance the polishing sheet in a linear direction across a top surface of the platen. The polishing sheet is releasably secured to the platen to rotate with the platen, and it has a width greater than a diameter of the substrate.

摘要： A method for fabricating a circuit device includes preparing an insulation resin sheet for which a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer are adhered to each other by insulation resin, forming through holes in the first conductive layer and the insulation resin at appointed points of the insulation resin sheet, and selectively exposing the rear side of the second conductive layer. A multi-layer connecting means is formed in the through holes and the first conductive layer is electrically connected to the second conductive layer. The method includes etching the first conductive layer to an appointed pattern, forming a first conductive path layer, and adhering and fixing semiconductor elements by electrically insulating the same on the first conductive path layer. The first conductive path layer and the semiconductor elements are overcoated with a sealing resin layer. The second conductive layer is etched to an appointed pattern after etching the entire surface thereof so as to become thin, and forming a second conductive path layer. External electrodes are formed at appointed points of the second conductive path layer.

The method further comprises determining that the second transcription of the utterances includes a term from a predefined set of one or more terms. The method further comprises, based on determining that the second transcription of the utterance includes the term, providing an output of the first transcription of the utterance.

摘要： A search engine provides personalized rankings of search results. A user interest profile identifies topics of interest to a user. Each topic is associated with one or more sites, and a boost value, which can be used to augment an information retrieval score of any document from the site. Search results from any search are provided to the user, with a variable control of the ranking of the results. The results can be ranked by their unboosted information retrieval score, thus reflecting no personalization, or by their fully or partially boosted information retrieval scores. This allows the user to selectively control how their interests affect the ranking of the documents.

摘要： A system for searching an object environment includes harvesting and indexing applications to create a search database and one or more indexes into the database. A scoring application determines the relevance of the objects, and a querying application locates objects in the database according to a search term. One or more of the indexes may be implemented by a hash table or other suitable data structure, where algorithms provide for adding objects to the indexes and searching for objects in the indexes. A ranking scheme sorts searchable items according to an estimate of the frequency that the items will be used in the future. Multiple indexes enable a combined prefix title and full-text content search of the database, accessible from a single search interface.

Each of the format data portions of the pieces of correspondence includes a layout and a style of a corresponding piece of correspondence, and each of the content data portions includes standard text having fixed content for all instances of the corresponding piece of correspondence and variable text having content that varies for different instances of the corresponding piece of correspondence. Automatically generating the requested piece of correspondence includes retrieving values for the variable text of the content data portion from a second database and using the format data portion to combine and format the standard text and the variable text corresponding to the retrieved values.
