摘要: Described herein are improved configurations for an apparatus that may include a plurality of resonators electrically interconnected and arranged in an array to form a composite resonator for wireless power transfer, each one of the plurality of resonators may include a block of a magnetic material having a conductor wire wrapped around a cross section thereof to form at least one loop enclosing an area substantially equal to the cross section, wherein the plurality of resonators are may be oriented so that a dipole moment of each one of the plurality of resonators is aligned with a dipole moment of each other one of the plurality of resonators.

摘要: A method produces a wavelength shift into an optical signal. The method includes producing a coherent temporal array of optical signals (CTAS) from an incoming optical signal and broadening the signals of the CTAS to produce a interference pattern. The broadening results from transmitting the CTAS or the incoming optical signal through a dispersive medium. The method also includes selectively transmitting a peak of the interference pattern. The transmitted peak has a selected wavelength shift with respect to the incoming optical signal.

摘要: An optical memory and an optical random and pseudo-random pattern generator for ultra-high-speed time-domain multiplexing multi-access networks are described. The optical memory and pattern generators include an optical ring resonator, an optical amplifier, a bistability generator, an optically-controlled stabilizing element, and a coupling element. Such devices are capable of storing high data rates for long periods of time.
