摘要: The present invention relates to a white balance adjusting device for a color video camera for photographing an object irradiated by light from a blackbody radiation source or a non-blackbody radiation source. When recording operation is being performed, the white balance adjusting device prevents the moving operation of a fluorescent light correction filter and a color temperature conversion filter into an optical path of image pickup means and permits a white balance adjustment operation performed by electrically correcting an output of the image pickup means. When a recording operation is not being performed, the white balance adjusting device permits the moving operation of the fluorescent light correction filter and the color temperature conversion filter into the optical path and permits white balance adjustment operation performed by electrically correcting the output of the image pickup means.

摘要: With an audiovisual information presentation system, pictorial image data, drawn on paper sheets in advance and to be optically projected on a screen using an optical projector, is sequentially sensed by a TV camea. Speech corresponding to the image data is input through a microphone. A data storage unit stores the image data and corresponding audio data together with code data for identifying pairs of image and audio data. When a search mode is designated, a desired pair of image and audio data is automatically searched from the data storage unit under the control of a CPU, and is reproduced by electrical monitor display units and a loudspeaker unit independent of image display on the projection screen.

摘要: A position control device for controlling a position of a movable member has high durability and is free from a hunting phenomenon. Electric contacts arranged in a row at a given pitch are respectively connected to the nodes between series-connected resistors and first and second brushes interlocked with the movable member can contact the adjoining two of the electric contacts at a time such that discrete two voltage signals are generated at the first and second brushes. A pair of comparators compare these voltage signals with a voltage signal corresponding to a target position where the movable member is to be stopped and a driving means for the movable member stops its operation when the former voltage signals sandwitch the latter voltage signal. A third brush capable of contacting index terminals in response to the movement of the movable member and a pair of memorizing means capable of memorizing the outputs of the comparators each time the third brush contacts one of the index terminals are provided for minimizing the error in the position where the movable member is actually stopped.

摘要: A measuring method for measuring characteristics of an object to be measured, the measuring method including holding the object on a void-arranged structure having at least two void portions that pass therethrough in a direction perpendicular to a principal surface thereof, and applying electromagnetic waves to the void-arranged structure on which the object is held to detect frequency characteristics of the electromagnetic waves transmitted through the void-arranged structure. The void-arranged structure has a grid structure in which the void portions are periodically arranged in at least one direction on the principal surface of the void-arranged structure. The characteristics of the object are measured on the basis of a relationship between a first frequency characteristic and a second frequency characteristic.
