    Abstract: A color image processing apparatus including a read-out device for reading a color negative film to produce three color component signals, one component for each of three formation colors. A generation device generates a signal indicating the type or condition of the color negative film read by the read-out device.     Abstract: In an optical scanning system for a copying apparatus, it is known to reciprocate the equipment so that an image to be scanned is applied, for example, to a photosensitive drum, developed, and eventually applied to a recording medium.
