Abstract: A platform for design of a lighting installation generally includes an automated search engine for retrieving and storing a plurality of lighting objects in a lighting object library and a lighting design environment providing a visual representation of a lighting space containing lighting space objects and lighting objects. The visual representation is based on properties of the lighting space objects and lighting objects obtained from the lighting object library. A plurality of aesthetic filters is configured to permit a designer in a design environment to adjust parameters of the plurality of lighting objects handled in the design environment to provide a desired collective lighting effect using the plurality of lighting objects.

Abstract: Computer implemented methods, systems, and computer program products include program code executing on a processor(s) that merges a document comprising multiple pages into a single document image. The program code processes the single document image to identify structural elements and textual content. The program code compares the structural elements of the single document image to other structural elements of a group of document templates stored in a database to identify a subset of the group of documents templates with a threshold number of similarities to the single document image. The program code generates, from the single document image, a graph structure representing the document, where the graph structure comprises visual information and connections related to the structural elements and concepts comprising the textual content. The program code uses the structure to identify a document template that is a closest match to the document.

Abstract: A system includes an inlet arm including a sampling inlet and an outlet arm including a sampling outlet. A particle sensor disposed between the sampling inlet and the sampling outlet includes at least one light source of a certain wavelength configured to irradiate at least one particle within a stream of fluid flowing from the sampling inlet to the sampling outlet with a focused or collimated beam of light. The particle sensor also includes at least one light diffuser or reflector configured to form at least one monitoring image in the image data captured by the image sensor or camera relating to the at least one particle, wherein the monitoring image is configured to indicate an inlet condition of the sampling inlet or inlet arm.

Abstract: An image sensing device including an image sensor configured to output a raw image by capturing an image of a subject and an image signal processor configured to perform a bad pixel correction process on the raw image on an image patch-by-image patch unit, compare pixels of an image patch of the raw image with a local saturation threshold value, determine a state of local saturation of the image patch based on a number of saturated pixels whose pixel values exceed the local saturation threshold value, and output a corrected image patch, which is obtained by correcting a pixel of the image patch with a corrected pixel value, with a replacement pixel value, or with a raw pixel value depending on the state of local saturation of the image patch.

Abstract: A method in one embodiment includes: extracting first image features of a first image of a first resolution and second image features of a second image of a second resolution, wherein the first resolution is less than the second resolution, and the first image and the second image correspond to each other. The method further includes: extracting reference image features of a reference image, wherein the reference image includes edges and modes for reconstruction reference. The method further includes: generating a third image of a third resolution based on the first image features, the second image features, and the reference image features, wherein the third resolution is less than or equal to the second resolution. By using this method, super-resolution image processing can be implemented on a low-resolution image to obtain a reconstructed image with similar or the same resolution as the original image, with reduced storage space and device costs.

Abstract: A copy-protected image display system is provided to include an eyeglasses display device, and an image content server that stores a source image, and device information that corresponds to the eyeglasses display device. The image content server introduces a small data change into the source image based on the device information to obtain a first modified image, converts the first modified image into a second modified image based on an image modification rule, and transmits the second modified image to the eyeglasses display device through a data transceiving device. The eyeglasses display device converts the second modified image back to the first modified image, and displays the first modified image.
