    Abstract: There is disclosed a wearable device comprising a body wearable on a user's body part; a wireless communication chipset loaded in the body and configured to transceive a signal; a divider connected with the wireless communication chipset; a first antenna connected with the divider and loaded in the body; and a second antenna connected with the divider and loaded in the body, spaced a preset distance apart from the first antenna, so that the wearable device is capable of securing wireless communication performance, regardless of the location of the other terminal communicable with the wearable device while the user is wearing the wearable device. Especially, the wireless communication performance can be improved, using the conventional wireless communication chipset, and the wearable device has the advantage of no drastic rise in unit cost, compared with the conventional product.

    Abstract: Stand-alone headphones with a digital music player provide a complete, internalized digital music playing system with a micro-SD card slot, two LCD visual displays, and an internal memory device for the storage of audio files. A microphone and voice recognition software enable the headphones to be controlled by voice commands. A separate volume control is provided for each headphone. A Universal Service Bus (USB) port enables transfer of audio files between the memory device and any external device, as well as recharging the battery.

    Abstract: A wireless earpiece may include a local memory for storing audio files that can be played back by the user. The wireless earpiece may fit entirely within the user's ear canal. Audio files, for example music files, may be loaded on the wireless earpiece by docking the wireless earpiece with a mobile device, which includes a larger memory storing the user's library of music files. The stored audio files may be received from a mobile device that were automatically selected from a library of music files by the mobile device without intervention from the user. To provide stereo sound, two wireless earpieces may be worn by the user and docked separately with the mobile device. Each of the two wireless earpieces may store a single channel of an audio file, which is separated by the mobile device during synchronization.

    Abstract: A hybrid headphone includes a variable aperture device configured to reversibly switch the hybrid headphone between an open-back mode of operation and a closed-back mode of operation. Closed-back mode may be used to provide acoustic isolation from ambient noise to improve audio intelligibility of content due to a reduction and/or elimination of the ambient noise. The hybrid headphone may automatically be switched from the open-back mode to the closed-back mode when ANC is activated or in response to a signal or data. The hybrid headphone may include a semi-open-back mode that is between the open-back and closed-back modes. The variable aperture device may be commanded to an open position for the open-back mode, a closed position for the closed-back mode, and a partially open position for the semi-open mode. The variable aperture device may include a shutter, a hole, a port, or a port including a variable acoustic impedance material.
