The network system includes an energy supply part including a plurality of power supply sources, an energy metering part communicating with the plurality of power supply sources, the energy metering measuring energy supplied from the plurality of power supply sources, an energy management part receiving energy-related information supplied from the energy supply part, and an energy consumption part consuming power supplied from the energy supply part, the energy consumption part being operable and controllable by the energy management part. At least one power supply source of the plurality of power supply sources is selected according to an order of priority of a power supply, based on energy information related to the plurality of power supply sources. Thus, the power supply source having minimum costs is selected to efficiently manage energy within an intellectual power supply network.

    摘要: An inverter apparatus includes an input stage receiving DC electric power from a DC power generator for loading a DC voltage link, a DC/AC converter connected to the DC voltage link and feeding AC electric power into a power grid. The apparatus further includes a bidirectional connection for loading a battery out of the DC voltage link and for loading the DC voltage link out of the battery, and a controller operating the DC/AC converter and the bidirectional connection. The controller receives present values of relevant parameters of the battery including working data at least related to a state of charge and safety data indicating a safety state of the battery from a battery monitoring unit. The controller, in operating the bidirectional connection, considers the working data and is commanded by the safety data.

    摘要: A method is provided for efficiently managing energy consumption using stored energy. The method accepts input energy (e.g., from a power utility) and maintains a record of energy consumption. An energy consumption peak is predicted in response to analyzing the record of energy consumption, and the input energy is augmented with stored energy during the predicted energy consumption peaks. More explicitly, a peak shaving value is selected based on a fraction of the predicted energy consumption peak, and the stored energy is used when energy consumption exceeds the peak shaving value. In one aspect, after a determination is made to use stored energy, it is simply used while it is available. Otherwise, it is supplied based upon an analysis of a predicted value of the stored energy.

    摘要: Described herein are apparatuses, systems and methods for configuring and managing the combination of strings of photovoltaic energy generators to improve the energy production performance of such generators. The strings of photovoltaic energy generators are connected to terminals in a combiner box having receptacles for receiving removable modular units of various types. Removable modular units with measurement capabilities are used in the combiner boxes to measure the direct current input provided by the strings; and in light of the measurements, the removable modular units can be selectively downgraded to simpler units that do not have measurement capabilities to reduce cost, and/or selectively upgraded to more sophisticated units that can adjust the output of the respective strings, such as upconverting the output voltage of the respective strings, to improve the performance of the strings.
