Abstract: The present invention provides a quantitative catalyst supply device that supplies a predetermined amount of catalyst slurry through an injection port formed through a container bottom. The quantitative catalyst supply device includes: an extendible supply pipe connected to a hopper and filled with catalyst slurry; a head connected to the supply pipe and supplying catalyst slurry to the injection port at the container bottom; a cylinder connected to a side of the supply pipe and supplying a predetermined amount of catalyst slurry through the head; and valve units disposed in an upper portion and a lower portion of the supply pipe spaced from the cylinder and opened or closed by operation of the cylinder.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for the internal treatment of pipes, in particular for coolant tubes of steam condensers and heat exchangers, comprising a supply unit (V) for feeding and conveying treatment media, an application unit (A) to apply the treatment media fed in by the supply unit, as well as a control unit to monitor and control the supplied treatment media and the application of treatment media to the inner wall of the pipes, wherein the application unit (A) is provided with a guiding hose (21) through which an application hose (18) extends designed so as to be inserted into the pipe to be treated, said application hose (18) terminating in a nozzle, wherein the application hose (18) can be wound up in a single layer on a driven reel (17) and secured on the reel (17) by means of tensioning belts, the application hose (18) is capable of moving forward and back via guide rollers (27) arranged on a traversing carriage (55), the guide rollers (27) are powered by a drive operating synchronously with the drive (19) of the reel (17), and the traversing carriage (55) moves parallelly to the reel axis relative to the extended position of the application hose (18).

Abstract: The interior of a straight pipe is clad using a plurality of welding heads. The pipe is carried on support rollers including drive components for rotating the pipe about its axis while holding it fixed against axial movement. There are four welding heads with two carried on a cantilevered support arm of a respective one of a first and a second carriage mounted outside the pipe at opposite ends of the pipe and each movable in a direction longitudinally of the axis of the pipe. The heads are located on the arm at a common angular position at bottom dead center to weld vertically downwardly. The pipe support includes a pair of drive rollers arranged with their axes parallel to the axis of the pipe and adjustable in spacing to change the height of the pipe on the rollers relative to the welding heads.

Abstract: A dense phase powder coating system includes a powder supply, dense phase pump, a spray gun and a diverter valve that can be used to select between conveying powder to the spray gun or circulating the powder back to the powder supply. The diverter valve may include two pneumatically actuate valve members. In one embodiment, the powder spray gun applies powder coating material to inside surfaces of a tubular container. A spray nozzle concept also is presented having a nozzle body with a conical deflector. The spray nozzle provides an uninterrupted flow between spray nozzle outlet holes and a deflector surface. The deflector may be integrally machined with the nozzle body to provide a one piece spray nozzle.

Abstract: A spray head for spraying mortar is provided. The spray head includes a spinning head positioned at an outlet point of a mortar supply pipe, the spinning head directing mortar supplied from the mortar supply pipe in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of travel of mortar in the mortar supply pipe. Abstract: Methods and systems for coating at least a portion of a medical device (e.g., a stent structure) include providing a plurality of coating particles (e.g., monodisperse coating particles) in a defined volume. For example, the particles may be provided using one or more nozzle structures, wherein each nozzle structure includes at least one opening terminating at a dispensing end. The plurality of coating particles may be provided in the defined volume by dispensing a plurality of microdroplets having an electrical charge associated therewith from the dispensing ends of the one or more nozzle structures through use of a nonuniform electrical field between the dispensing ends and the medical device. Electrical charge is concentrated on the particle as the microdroplet evaporates. With a plurality of coating particles provided in the defined volume, such particles can be moved towards at least one surface of the medical device to form a coating thereon (e.g., using an electric field and/or a thermophoretic effect).

Abstract: A wear resistant coating is applied on an elbow or S-bend by weld beads applied along a pipe. A rectangular support rod is attached inside the pipe by connectors so that wheels of the carriage are guided on the corners to maintain a fixed orientation relative to the support rod. A three axis robot arm carries an electric welding head so as to be able to dynamically adjust the head both angularly and radially. A welding wire is pulled to the head by a feeding system on the carriage. The weld parameters including a predetermined wire stick out and angle of wire attack are controlled. A drive motor carried by a drive carriage propels the drive carriage longitudinally along the support rod with a series of intermediate carriages.

Abstract: Apparatus for spraying glass bottle mold bodies, such as blanks and rings in a molding machine, includes nozzles and spray guns mounted on a plate such that the nozzles are positioned to spray the mold bodies with a material such as a lubricant during normal operation of the machine and without shutting the machine down. The apparatus can be installed on an existing machine without changing the molding machine. Rings may be sprayed while in motion during normal machine operation. Abstract: A robotic spray system is provided for accurately spraying mold release onto any size or shaped green tire. The system analyzes individual green tires using an integrated vision system. The system controls the robotic spray position, the fan, fluid, atomizing air, and tire rotation speed for optimal spray coverage on both the inside and outside of green tires. The system includes a conveyor, an overhead mounted camera located over an infeed station, and a second camera located perpendicular to the green tire's tread and several feet away from the center of the tire. Pictures of the green tire in the station are used to estimate the center and radius of the tire and locate the angle of the bar code with respect to the center of the tire. Reference points are provided from the camera images and robot positions are calculated to control the spraying.
