摘要: Embodiments of films, for example, infrared absorbing, heat retaining films, comprise at least one polymer selected from: a low density polyethylene (LDPE) having a density range of 0.900 g/cc to 0.930 g/cc and a melt index (I2) of 0.3 g/10 min to 2.0 g/10 min as measured in accordance with ASTM D1238; a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) having a density range of 0.900 g/cc to 0.930 g/cc and a melt index I2 of 0.3 g/10 min to 2.0 g/10 min; and a ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate content ranging from 3 wt. % to 27 wt. % and a melt index I2 of 0.2 g/10 min to 10 g/10 min. The films also comprise a hybrid filler comprising (i) a layered double hydroxide, and (ii) an inorganic powder complex having a particle size distribution defined by a median diameter (D50) of 1.5 to 20 μm.

摘要: A hose that includes an inner layer and an outer layer made of an elastic polymeric material, and a textile reinforcement layer interposed between the inner and the outer layers. The inner layer and the outer layer are reciprocally coupled to form a unitary tubular member, within which the textile reinforcement layer is embedded. The unitary tubular member has an elasticity such to automatically elongate under the working pressure given by the liquid flowing therethrough to increase its original length and to automatically recover once the working pressure stops. The textile reinforcement layer is adapted to move from a rest configuration when the working pressure stops to a working configuration when the unitary tubular member elongates under the working pressure, and vice versa.

摘要: The present invention relates to an external cooling system for a molten film tube produced by a blown film tubular extrusion process. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a unidirectional cooling element having a unidirectional cooling interface containing a cooling gas deflector spaced adjacent to the molten film tube. The unidirectional cooling element operably expels cooling gas in a path with the flow of the molten film tube toward an exit gap formed between the unidirectional cooling interface and the molten film tube. The minimum gap between the unidirectional cooling interface and the molten film tube occurs at the exit gap, and advantageously, the unidirectional cooling interface is provided with one or more compound angles to maximize stability and cooling efficiency.

摘要: An ion exchange resin membrane or an ion exchange precursor resin membrane having a thickness of 25 microns or less and having an orientation ratio of 1.5 or less; which may be produced by co-extruding an ion exchange precursor resin with an incompatible polymer to form a multilayer film having a layer of the ion exchange precursor resin supported on a layer of the incompatible polymer. The layer of incompatible polymer is then removed from the layer of ion exchange precursor resin to provide the ion exchange precursor resin membrane. The ion exchange precursor resin membrane may be converted to an ion exchange resin membrane by hydrolysis, and subsequent acidification if desired.

摘要: A packaged product has a product surrounded by a vacuum skin package. The vacuum skin package has a support member and an implosion-resistant thermoplastic top web. The top web conforms with both the upper surface of the product, and an uncovered portion of the upper surface of the support member. The thermoplastic top web comprises an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer in an amount of from 55 wt % to 85 wt %, based on total weight of top web, and/or a blend of ethylene/α-olefin copolymer and cyclic olefin copolymer. Also disclosed is a vacuum skin package containing the implosion-resistant top web.
