摘要: A method may produce a heat-resistant resin composite excellent in heat resistance and bending properties. This heat-resistant resin composite is constituted of a matrix resin and reinforcing fibers dispersed in the matrix resin. The matrix resin is constituted of a heat-resistant thermoplastic polymer having a glass transition temperature of 100° C. or higher, and a polyester-based polymer comprising a terephthalic acid unit (A) and an isophthalic acid unit (B) at a copolymerization proportion (molar ratio) of (A)/(B)=100/0 to 40/60. The proportion of the heat-resistant thermoplastic polymer in the composite is 30 to 80 wt %.

摘要: A meltblown nonwoven fabric is provided. The meltblown nonwoven fabric includes a plurality of meltblown fibers adhered to each other. The material of each of the meltblown fibers includes a polyetherimide and a polyimide, or the material of each of the meltblown fibers includes a polyphenylene sulfide and a polyimide, wherein the glass transition temperature of the polyimide is between 128° C. and 169° C., the 10% thermogravimetric loss temperature of the polyimide is between 490° C. and 534° C., and when the polyimide is dissolved in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and the solid content of the polyimide is 30 wt %, the viscosity of the polyimide is between 100 cP and 250 cP.

摘要: Provided is a polyetherimide-based fiber containing a polyetherimide resin and carbon black dispersed in the resin, wherein the content of the carbon black is 0.03 wt % or greater; the carbon black has a primary particle number-mean particle size of from 30 nm to 500 nm; and the fiber has a weight reduction rate of less than 0.5% around the glass transition point (Tg) of the polyetherimide resin, where the weight reduction rate is defined by a following formula (1). Weight reduction rate (%)={[(fiber weight at temperature T1)−(fiber weight at temperature T2)]/(fiber weight at temperature T1)}×100 (1) Where T1 denotes a temperature (Tg−15° C.) that is 15° C. lower than the glass transition point (glass transition temperature) of the polyetherimide resin, and T2 denotes a temperature (Tg+25° C.) that is 25° C. higher than the glass transition point.

摘要: A self-cleaning filtration media for use in hydrocarbon fluid filtration applications has a first layer on an upstream side and a second layer on downstream side of the self-cleaning filtration media. The first layer is composed of polyethersulfone nanofibers having a diameter of 50-1000 nm (0.05-1 micron) and a basis weight of at least 1 gsm. The second layer is a nonwoven substrate suitable for filtration applications. The self-cleaning filtration media exhibits a dust holding capacity of at least 6 mg/cm2 and a filtration efficiency of greater than 90% for 4 micron particles when the self-cleaning filtration media is tested according to ISO 19438 for fuel filtration and according to ISO 4548-12 for oil filtration. When the second layer includes glass fibers, the self-cleaning filtration media has a dust holding capacity of at least 10 mg/cm2 and a filtration efficiency of greater than 99% for 4 micron particles when the self-cleaning filtration media is tested according to ISO 19438 for fuel filtration and according to ISO 4548-12 for oil filtration. The self-cleaning filtration media also has a fuel-water separation efficiency of at least 99% when a flat sheet is tested according to ISO 16332; and a lifetime of at least 90 minutes when tested with fuel and oil according to ISO 19438 and ISO 4548-12 using Medium Test Dust and a pressure drop of 70 kPa.
