Signaling systems, preamplifiers, memory devices and methods are disclosed, such as a signaling system that includes a transmitter configured to receive a first digital signal. The transmitter provides a transmitted signal corresponding to the digital signal to a signal path. A receiver system coupled to the signal line includes a preamplifier coupled to receive the transmitted signal from the signal path. The preamplifier includes a common-gate amplifying transistor that is configured to provide an amplified signal. The receiver system also includes a receiver coupled to receive the amplified signal from the preamplifier. The receiver is configured to provide a second digital signal corresponding to the amplified signal received by the receiver. Such a signaling system may be used in a memory device or in any other electronic circuit.

A method of transmitting PMI (precoding matrix indicator) information in an uplink MIMO system is disclosed. The present invention includes the steps of receiving channel information from a user equipment and transmitting information on a resource allocated to the user equipment in uplink transmission and PMI information indicating a precoding matrix to apply to a region of the resource among a plurality of precoding matrices to the user equipment based on the received channel information, wherein the resource allocated to the user equipment is allocated by a bundle unit of a prescribed number of subcarriers, wherein each of a plurality of the precoding matrices are applied to regions generated from dividing a whole frequency band into a prescribed number of regions, respectively, and wherein the precoding matrix applied to the resource among a plurality of the precoding matrices has a maximum area resulting from overlapping a frequency band occupied by the allocated resource with a frequency band having the precoding matrix applied thereto.

The present invention relates to a novel biphenyl derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory diseases or autoimmune diseases comprising the same as an active ingredient, and methods for treating inflammatory disease or autoimmune diseases with the pharmaceutical composition. Novel biphenyl derivatives according to the present invention promote the phagocytosis of macrophages and inhibit the chemotaxis to exhibit excellent inflammation terminating and anti-inflammatory effects and thus can be effectively used as therapeutic agents for inflammatory diseases or autoimmune diseases.

A driving method of an organic light emitting display device includes sensing temperatures of a plurality of areas included in a pixel unit and, when a temperature difference between the respective areas is less than a predetermined reference value, outputting first data that is input from outside. When the temperature difference between the respective areas is equal to or greater than the reference value, the method includes generating second data by changing a grayscale of the first data such that the temperatures of the respective areas are similar to each other, and outputting the second data.

A liquid crystal lens unit is provided for use in an autostereoscopic 3D image display. Light passing through the liquid crystal lens unit is refracted by a liquid crystal layer arranged by an electric field. The voltage levels applied to the to the liquid crystal layer are periodically changed thereby periodically oscillating the position of the focus profile of the liquid crystal lens unit. As a result, moiré patterns are removed and display quality is improved.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an environmentally friendly, simple and economic process for producing xylose. The process comprises the steps of: a) countercurrently extracting tropical fruit biomass by hydrolysis with sulfuric acid to obtain a high-concentration xylose extract; b) adjusting the extract to a pH of 1.5-2.5 and decolorizing and filtering the pH-adjusted extract; c) desalting the filtrate in an electrodialysis device; and d) recycling a waste sulfuric acid solution recovered from step c), to step a), and concentrating and directly recovering the desalted filtrate to obtain xylose crystals.

A backlight unit and a display apparatus are provided. The display apparatus includes a driving unit which applies a driving current using a duty cycle controlling to the light emitting unit; and a controller which controls a first driving current to be applied to the light emitting unit in a section of a plurality of frame sections, and a second driving current to be applied to the light emitting unit in another section of the plurality of frame sections. Therefore, luminance representation of backlight in a low grayscale region can be improved.
