Abstract:
A method for forming capacitor is proposed. The key point of the invention is that bottom plate and dielectric layer of capacitor are formed before metal interconnect is formed. Thus, thermal treatment of dielectric layer does not affect metal interconnect. Therefore, conventional fault that quality of dielectric layer is degraded by scant annealing is avoided, and then dielectric layer and metal interconnect can be optimized respectively. Obviously, the ultimate advantage of the proposed method is that not only breakdown voltage of dielectric layer is increased by annealing but also quality of metal interconnect is not affected by annealing. Therefore, an incidental advantage of the proposed method is that the method is beneficial to form both capacitor and metal interconnect.
Abstract:
The present invention consists of a method for the preparation of an anionic water dispersible polyurethane(PU), which has excellent adhesive properties. The preparation method involves the formation of prepolymer from polyisocyanates and an active hydrogen containing compound such as polyols, followed by chain extension with aliphatic diols or diamines, and finally by chain extension with N-(2-aminoalkyl-2-aminoethoxylate ethane sulfonate and dispersion of the reaction product by deionized water to obtain water-borne polyurethane adhesive.

A chemical mechanical polishing machine and a fabrication process using the same. The chemical mechanical polishing machine comprises a retainer ring having a plurality of slurry passages at the bottom of the retainer ring. The retainer ring further comprises a circular path. By conducting the slurry through the slurry passages and the circular, a wafer is planarized within the chemical mechanical polishing machine.

An apparatus and a method for preventing contamination to a low pressure chemical vapor deposition chamber (LPCVD) are provided. The apparatus includes an exhaust-vent device which is connected to a vent outlet and a vacuum pump on a process chamber in parallel with and bypassing a gate valve such that the exhaust-vent remains open during a continuous pumping of the process chamber for wafer loading and unloading. The exhaust-vent device is constructed by two end conduits that have a larger diameter connected by a middle conduit that has a smaller diameter such that during vacuum evacuation, the fluid flow rate in the smaller diameter conduit is at least four times that in the large conduit to effectively prevent the deposition in the small conduit of reaction by-products. The present invention apparatus may further be enhanced by mounting heating tapes on the vacuum conduits and heating the conduits to a temperature of between about 100.degree. C. and about 180.degree. C. to further prevent the deposition of contaminating particles on the interior walls of the conduits.
Abstract:
A dynamic volume control system in an audio processor uses gain and delay signals from a digital signal processor to dynamically control the user-selected volume of the audio processor. The digital signal processor executes audio signal processing operations that affect the gain applied to the audio signal so that the signal gain inherent in the signal processing path is known. The digital signal processor transfers the known gain and a predicted group delay signal to the dynamic volume control system to dynamically adjust the user-selected volume of the system. The digital signal processor is integrated with a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) in a dynamic volume control system that exploits the known gain and group delay to perform DAC volume control.
Abstract:
A palm-top fabric leading edge detector adapted to be incorporated in a high temperature or regular temperature, L-configured or U-configured dyeing machine includes a detector body which is releasably connected to a sensor mounted in the dyeing machine via a cable to receive a fabric leading edge detection signal from the sensor when the leading edge of a fabric that is moved through the dyeing machine for dyeing passes through the sensor. The detector processes the fabric leading edge detection signal and provides the detection result on a display on the detector body. The detector is driven by an internal power source which may be primary cells or secondary cells rechargeable by means of external power source. Visual indicator and audio signal generation device are provided to indicate the detection of the fabric leading edge in a visual and audio manner.
Abstract:
A mechanism is composed of a seat, an air or oil cylinder, a connection seat, and a guide rod for maintaining the linear motion of a mechanical arm which is fastened with the connection seat. The guide rod is provided with a slot extending along the direction of the longitudinal axis of the guide rod. Two opposite walls of the slot of the guide rod are provided respectively with a rail enabling the guide rod to move linearly in conjunction with a plurality of rollers engageable with the rails. The axial positions of the rollers can be adjusted to correct the deviated motion of the guide rod.
Abstract:
A method for effectively cleaning the slurry remnants left on a polishing pad after the completion of a chemical mechanical polish (CMP) process is provided. This method is able to substantially thoroughly clean away all of the slurry remnants left on the polishing pad. In the method of the invention, the first step is to prepare a cleaning agent which is a mixture of H.sub.2 O.sub.2, deionized water, an acid solution, and an alkaline solution mixed to a predetermined ratio. The cleaning agent is subsequently directed to a nozzle formed in the pad dresser. This allows the cleaning agent to be jetted forcibly onto the slurry remnants on the polishing pad so as to clean the slurry remnants away from the polishing pad. The cleaning agent can be provided with predetermined ratios for various kinds of slurries so that the cleaning agent can be adjusted to be either acid or alkaline in nature. This can allow an increase in the repellent force between the particles of the slurry remnants and the underlying polishing pad that is caused by the so-called zeta potential, thus allowing the slurry remnants to be more easily removed from the polishing pad.

A supporting device for a golf bag stand includes a supporting plate, a tubular receiver integrally formed with the supporting plate and a bottom plate having a concavity defined therein. The concavity is sized and configured to mate with the struting plate, such that the struting plate is able to be snugly received within the concave space. Furthermore, a first channel is defined within the struting plate and a second channel is defined within the bottom plate, such that when the supporting plate is received within the concavity of the bottom plate, a pin is able to pivotally combine the bottom plate and the supporting plate through the second channel and the first channel respectively, which provides the golf bag an ability to adjust to any terrain when the golf bag is held in a substantially upright position.
