摘要: Disclosed is a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine. A first raised portion having a flat bottom is formed on the inner wall of the cylinder head so that a first flat squish area is formed between the flat bottom of the first raised portion and the flat peripheral portion of the top face of the piston. A second raised portion is formed on the top face of the piston at a position opposite to the first raised portion with respect to the axis of the piston and has a spherical rear wall so that a second spherical shell shape squish area is formed between the inner wall of the cylinder head and the rear wall of the first raised portion. The first squish flow spouted out from the first squish area moves forward along the top face of the piston. The second squish flow spouted from the second squish area moves forward in the upper interior of the combustion chamber in the direction opposite to the spouting direction of the first squish flow. The first and second squish flows cooperate with each other to create a strong swirl motion rotating about a horizontal axis in the combustion chamber.

摘要: The present invention provides a cage, for a rolling bearing, whose surface is silver-plated by using a barrel plating method capable of improving the durability thereof in a sliding test. In the cage, for the rolling bearing, made of an iron metal material and having a precious metal-plated layer formed on a surface thereof, the precious metal-plated layer is formed on a ground plated layer formed on a surface of the iron metal material by using a barrel electroplating method. A surface of the ground plated layer consists of a smooth surface. The precious metal-plated layer is in direct close contact with the smooth surface. The ground plated layer consists of a metal having a higher ionization tendency than the precious metal formed on the surface of the ground plated layer. For example, the precious metal forming the plated layer formed on the surface of the ground plated layer is silver, whereas the ground plated layer is a copper-plated layer. A cavity is not present at an interface between the copper-plated layer and the silver-plated layer.

摘要: A circuit board includes a substrate including electrode patterns formed thereon, first chip components mounted on the substrate and a second chip component mounted on a side of electrodes of the first chip components opposite from the substrate. The second chip component is bonded at one electrode to an electrode of the first chip component and is also bonded at the other electrode to an electrode of the first chip component. By stacking chip components in plural stages, it is possible to mount chip components with a high density on the substrate, thereby enabling reduction of the size of the circuit board.

摘要: An object of the invention is to provide the effects of suppressing noise radiated from a plurality of coupling terminals for coupling between boards to the peripheral space outside of an inter-board coupling connector. Two boards opposing to each other are electrically coupled by coupling terminals (3a), (3b), (3c) and these coupling terminals are molded by insulative resin to form in a frame shape. When an electric signal passes through the coupling terminals (3a), (3b), (3c), the noise radiated in the peripheral space of the outside can be suppressed by a shield plate (4a), (4b) attached to the outer periphery of the resin.

During reproduction of a ringer tone, the characteristic of a lowpass filter 130b is chosen as the frequency characteristic of a digital lowpass filter 130, a speaker 135 is driven by rendering a preamplifier 133b and a push-pull circuit 133d of a speaker amplifier 133 in an active state and setting the output form (circuit configuration) of the speaker amplifier 133 to BTL output, and the signal pass-band is set to a pass-band of 100 Hz to 20 kHz. During reproduction of a speech sound, the characteristic of a lowpass filter 130a is chosen as the frequency characteristic of the digital lowpass filter 130, the speaker 135 is driven by rendering the preamplifier 133b and the push-pull circuit 133d of the speaker amplifier 133 in a halt state and setting the output form (circuit configuration) of the speaker amplifier 133 to single output, and the signal pass-band is set to a pass-band of 300 Hz to 3 kHz.

摘要: An NO.sub.x absorbent (18) is disposed in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine and the exhaust gas is constantly made to circulate through the NO.sub.x absorbent (18) during the operation of the engine. The NO.sub.x absorbent (18) absorbs the NO.sub.x when the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas flowing into the NO.sub.x absorbent (18) is lean and releases the absorbed NO.sub.x when the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas flowing into the NO.sub.x absorbent (18) becomes the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio or rich. In the majority of the engine operation region, the lean air-fuel mixture is burned in the combustion chamber (3), and the NO.sub.x generated at this time is absorbed into the NO.sub.x absorbent (18). The air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas flowing into the NO.sub.x absorbent (18) is periodically made the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio or rich, and the NO.sub.x absorbed in the NO.sub.x absorbent (18) is released, and simultaneously reduced.
