摘要: A magnetic disk apparatus comprising a magnetic disk 1, a head, a servo-information detecting unit 3, a servo-information position calculating unit 4, a write-permission determining unit 15, a data-writing unit 6, and a head-drive control unit 17. Servo information and data are recorded on the disk 1. The head reads and writes data from and on the magnetic disk 1. The servo-information detecting unit 3 detects a present head position from a signal supplied from the head. The write-permission determining unit 15 calculates a present head speed and a present head acceleration from the present head position and a previous head position detected in the past, and determines whether data can be written, from the present head position, the present head speed and the present head acceleration. The data-writing unit 6 writes data in accordance with a decision made by the write-permission determining unit 15. The head-drive control unit 17 drives the head in accordance with the present head position.

摘要: A pipe joint with earthquake-proof function is provided. A lock ring engages with an accommodating groove of a socket. A tapered surface converging toward the opening side of the socket is formed on at least one of a portion of the lock ring engaging the accommodating groove and a portion of the accommodating groove engaging the lock ring. When a disengagement prevention force in a pipe axial direction for preventing a spigot from being disengaged from the socket by the engagement is transmitted from an accommodating groove to the lock ring through the tapered surface, a line of action of a component force of the disengagement prevention force in a direction perpendicular to the tapered surface passes the opening side of the socket of a contacting point between a socket bottom end part of the lock ring and the outer periphery of the spigot along the outer surface of the spigot.

摘要: In a structure in which a middle portion of a wiper blade is pivoted to a leading end portion of a wiper arm via a pivot substantially orthogonal to an arm length direction so as to freely oscillate, and a supporting member supporting a portion closer to a wiper shaft than the middle portion of the wiper blade is provided in the wiper arm, the structure reduces a sliding resistance which occurs due to a movement of the wiper blade toward and away from a window surface. A stabilizer has an upper piece portion and a pair of side piece portions, a supporting concave portion supporting a wiper blade in an outward fitting manner is formed, and a plurality of ribs which extend toward the window surface are formed on inner surfaces of the side piece portions, thereby being in linear contact with outer surfaces of side piece portions of a support receiving body which is fitted to a first lever terminal end portion of the wiper blade.

摘要: An atmosphere-vented valve (a pressure relief section) is opened in a predetermined amount so as to reduce an inside pressure of a canister to a predetermined negative pressure (S14) while preventing an inside pressure in a fuel tank from becoming an excessively negative pressure by closing a charge passageway opening and closing valve (S18), and purging is controlled while the canister inside pressure is being reduced, whereby from a similar principle to that of vacuum distillation, the release of vaporized fuel from an absorbent is promoted so as not only to increase the purge efficiency but also to prevent the application of an unnecessary stress to the fuel tank.

摘要: A fuel cell power generation system suitable for powering an electric vehicle and which provides high degree of safety when restarting power generation. The system is small in size, light in weight and low in cost of power generation. Three-way valves are provided in an exhaust-passage extending from a fuel-reforming unit and in pipes connecting the fuel-reforming unit, a CO removal unit and a fuel cell and as a gas exhaust valve on an anode side exhaust passage extending from the fuel cell. Accordingly, upon shut down, after exhausting residual reformed gas, combustion exhaust gas from a combustion unit associated with the fuel reforming unit is passed through the respective units for purging the residual reformed gas.
