摘要: Embodiments are directed to an electronic device having integrated sensors for detecting a user's cardiac electrical signals. The device can include a heart sensor having several leads for detecting a user's cardiac signals. The leads can be coupled to interior surfaces of the device housing to hide the sensor from view, and electrical signals generated by the user can be transmitted from the user's skin through the electronic device housing to the leads. In some embodiments, leads can be coupled to the exterior of the housing. The device can be finished so that the pads are integrated with the device to improve aesthetic qualities of the device. The electronic device can use the cardiac signals to identify or authenticate the user and perform operations based on the identity of the user. In some embodiments, the electronic device can provide data related to the user's mood based on the cardiac signals.

摘要: A method and apparatus for the quantitative determination of an individual's risk for sudden cardiac death (SCD) is described. Risk stratification is accomplished (and may have a sensitivity and specificity of greater than about 90%) by determining the presence in any individual being tested for SCD risk of sequences identified herein to correlate quantitatively with SCD risk. Both the number of such sequences present and their alignment scores (similarity) with the SCD risk sequence ensemble are used to calculate quantitative SCD risk.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to measuring impedance across a plurality of electrode pairs. The disclosed systems and methods may simultaneously provide drive signals between electrode pairs and then sense the voltage signals that develop at the electrodes. Digital signal processing may be used to synchronously demodulate the voltage signal at each electrode to determine impedances at the electrodes. Each electrode pair may be driven at a unique frequency to allow for significantly increasing a number of electrode pairs and/or increasing drive current magnitudes. Synchronous demodulation allows the unique frequencies to be detected independent of each other while minimizing crosstalk. Typically, the drive frequencies are made orthogonal by setting the drive frequencies at harmonics of a common base frequency and measuring a response over an integer number of cycles. In an embodiment, quadrature demodulation may occur providing a real component for resistive impedance and an imaginary component for reactive impedance.

摘要: A system for diagnosing a progressive structural heart disease including a 6-lead electrocardiogram (ECG), a 12-lead ECG, and an analysis device. The analysis device including a processor configured to obtain 12-lead ECG data corresponding to a patient, analyze the 12-lead ECG data for signs of the progressive structural heart disease; based on the 12-lead ECG data indicating the disease: obtain multiple sets of 6-lead ECG data corresponding to the patient, the multiple sets of 6-lead ECG data being obtained during spaced apart time intervals to show changes over time; perform serial analysis on the multiple sets of the 6-lead ECG data to validate the indicated progressive structural heart disease; and control an operation of the detection device based on a result of the analysis.

摘要: The invention relates to a pocket monitor of cardiac signals with the possibility of preliminary detection of infarct symptoms and of subsequent more detailed verification. Preferably, the monitor is formed of a two-channel monitor located on the sensing unit, preferably formed by a “two-channel monitor base”. Underneath the base, three ECG electrodes are provided, preferably formed by electrodes for sensing of potential of a Kranz's terminal, an electrode for sensing of the V4 lead, and an electrode for sensing of the V5 lead. Their assembly is placed on the chest, what allows sensing of two chest leads at once, namely the V4 and the 5V leads.
