    摘要: A mobile packet gateway obtains a network address of the terminal and a network address of a gateway virtual interface. The network address of the gateway virtual interface and the network address of the terminal belong to a same network segment. A virtual interface is created for a Packet Data Protocol Context (PDP context) of the MS according to the network address of the gateway virtual interface. A network segment address of a branch network served by the MS is obtained from the MS through the virtual interface according to a dynamic routing protocol.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for providing a communication service for a small-sized communication area in a communication system are provided. The method includes receiving a first wired network service data generation message including an identification number of a wired network service and a called number of wired network service data from a registered terminal, acquiring a femto access point and a wired network number mapped to the identification number of the wired network service from a pre-stored wired network service database, and setting the wired network number as a calling number of the registered terminal, and sending a first initial address message including the calling number and the called number to a wired communication network, wherein the wired network service represents a communication service that is provided from the wired communication network to at least one registered terminal and at least one non-registered terminal located in the small-sized communication area.

    摘要: A method of routing calls from a mobile unit to a destination location can include registering the mobile unit with a wireless adjunct, wherein the wireless adjunct is in communication with a switching unit and a packet based network and is operable to receive data from the switching unit and place the data, in packetized form, on the packet based network. The method can further include responding to a call setup request from the mobile unit and querying a subscriber database to determine if the mobile unit is a resident or a guest. If the mobile unit is a resident, communications data can be routed from the mobile unit through the switching unit to a first destination location. If the mobile unit is a guest, communications data can be routed from the mobile unit through an RF source to a second destination location.

    摘要: Registering a Mobile Station (MS) in a private mobile network cooperating with a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) enables necessary MS information (IMSI/MIN and ESN) to be registered with an incoming call of the MS without a complicated procedure when the MS registers with the private mobile network and includes: receiving an Origination Message (ORM) transmitted from the MS through a private Base Transceiver Station (pBTS) included in the private mobile network; extracting a function code, a Mobile Directory Number (MDN), and MS information from the received ORM; examining MS registration information stored in the pHLR using the extracted MDN when the function code is a registration function code; and updating and registering the MS registration information using the extracted MS information when the examined MS registration information is in a registration initialization pattern.

When the wireless terminal subscriber registered in the first wireless private network system moves through the wireless private network systems in the multi-zone, the wireless terminal subscriber can be automatically serviced from the wireless private network systems regardless of regions if the wireless terminal subscriber is located in any of the wireless private network system service areas.
