    摘要: A method of devulcanizing crosslinked rubber uses a planetary roller extruder with a central spindle, planetary spindles, a housing, and a feed part. The method includes feeding vulcanized rubber through the feed part into the housing, rotating the central spindle about its rotational axis and thereby causing the planetary spindles to rotate about their rotational axes and revolve about the central spindle. This generates mechanical and thermal stress on the vulcanized rubber by kneading and/or crushing of the vulcanized rubber, breaking or destroying the molecular chains or bonds of the vulcanized rubber. The method further includes at least one of (A) adding particles of the vulcanized rubber eccentrically to the center of the planetary roller extruder module between the planetary spindles and (B) mechanically pressing particles of the vulcanized rubber between the planetary spindles with a crammer feeder.

The assembled article is susceptible to automatic or semi-automatic disassembly through one or more of its connectors being susceptible to a reduction in one or more mechanical properties under exposure of the article to electromagnetic energy especially microwave. The article may be a garment that has joins stitched with a microwave susceptible yarn. The yarn is ideally manufactured from pseudo-conductive materials and is metal free.

    摘要: An apparatus and a method are provided for a latex-based packaging material configured to provide a dust-free alternative to vermiculite packaging materials. The latex-based packaging material comprises a portion of a latex-based waste formulated into a recycled latex emulsion, and a portion of particulate material into which the recycled latex emulsion is mixed so as to form a latex-based pulp. In some embodiments, additional components, such as any of various plasticizers, coloring agents, or hardeners, may be included in the latex-base pulp. The latex-based pulp is dispensed and dried so as to form the latex-based packaging material in a variety of desired shapes. Drying may be accomplished by way of unaided atmospheric evaporation, or by way of various conventional drying methods. In some embodiments, the desired shape of the packaging material comprises latex-based packaging peanuts suitable for separating and cushioning forces between containers during transportation in a larger container.

    摘要: A tire dismantling method is provided that is capable of dismantling a thermoplastic resin material from a tire in which the thermoplastic resin material and a rubber layer have been integrated together. A dismantling method is provided for a tire including a tire frame member formed of a thermoplastic resin and a rubber layer that is vulcanization bonded to an outer face of the tire frame member. The tire dismantling method includes an opening-out process of cutting the tire along a width direction to make the tire into a belt shape, and a slicing process of slicing the belt shaped tire along an interface of the rubber layer with the tire frame member.
