Abstract:
A method and apparatus for Ultra Wideband (UWB) communication, wherein in a UWB transmission method, a codeword stream is generated by performing spread spectrum used in Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access (DS CDMA) on a bitstream, followed by performing Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) modulation .on the codeword stream. In a UWB reception method, UWB signals are received and subjected to UWB demodulation to obtain OFDM signals. The obtained OFDM signals are subjected to OFDM demodulation to obtain a codeword stream. Then, spread spectrum used in the DS CDMA is performed on the codeword stream, thereby generating a bitstream. The method and apparatus provide UWB communication having characteristics of both of Multi-Band OFDM (ODM) and Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access (DS CDMA).

A terminal and method for outputting information are provided. The method includes the terminal performing a broadcast-related operation, outputting information having an output amount while performing the broadcast-related operation and subsequently outputting an amount of the information that was not output during the broadcast related operation when the broadcast-related operation is completed. Therefore, it is possible to fully provide useful information to the user during a wait time generated in connection with a broadcast mode.

The present invention is a method and system, with the system comprising an CPNS server and an end-point terminal for connecting the end-point terminal to a plurality of mobile communication terminals for providing the end-point terminal with a variety of services in a CPNS environment. The CPNS server makes a request for a CPNS service via a second mobile communication terminal, analyzes the request as transmitted to provide the end terminal with the service. The end-point terminal is connected to the first mobile communication terminal through a short-range wireless communication network for performing the CPNS service and is connected to a second mobile communication terminal through short-range wireless communication during the performance of the CPNS server to request and receive specific CPNS service from the CPNS server. Since the end-point terminal is connected to a plurality of mobile communication terminals and provided with CPNS services, the end-point terminal can simultaneously provide a variety of services.

An adhesive composition for semiconductors, an adhesive film, and a semiconductor device, wherein, in a curing process including a first stage at a temperature ranging from 120° C. to 130° C. for 1 to 20 minutes, a second stage at a temperature ranging from 140° C. to 150° C. for 1 to 10 minutes, a third stage at a temperature ranging from 160° C. to 180° C. for 30 seconds to 10 minutes, and a fourth stage at a temperature ranging from 160° C. to 180° C. for 10 minutes to 2 hours, the adhesive film has a DSC curing rate in the first stage that is 40% or less of a total curing rate, a DSC curing rate in the fourth stage that is 30% to 60% higher than a DSC curing rate in the third stage, and DSC curing rates in each of the second and third stages that are 5% or more higher than a DSC curing rate of a preceding stage thereof.

A gamma control data mapping circuit, a mapping method, and a display device using the gamma control data mapping circuit are provided. The gamma control data mapping circuit is for converting input data into grayscale data to display an original image on a display device. The mapping circuit separates the input data into high-order bit data and low-order bit data, and outputs a low-order grayscale boundary and a high-order grayscale boundary by using the high-order bit data. The gamma control data mapping circuit divides a grayscale region defined by the low-order grayscale boundary and the high-order grayscale boundary by a unit grayscale number to calculate unit grayscale data of the grayscale region, multiplies the low-order bit data by the unit grayscale data to calculate linear grayscale data, and adds the low-order grayscale boundary to the linear grayscale data to generate the grayscale data.
