    摘要: A specially designed sonotrode and anvil are adapted to be used in combination for ultrasonic welding of work pieces, to produce a narrower weld region, but one exhibiting greater durability, thereby permitting use of less packaging material. The contact surfaces comprise a surface of the anvil having a plurality of energy directors, where the plurality of energy directors are arranged into a three-dimensional grid pattern to be capable of distributed vibration-transmissive contact. The energy directors may comprise a series of plateau surfaces being regularly spaced apart from each other in a first direction, and in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction, to form the grid pattern. The rectangular-shaped plateaus may be spaced apart by valleys. Engagement of the energy directors of the anvil with the corresponding surface of the sonotrode may cause minor elastic deformation of work pieces positioned therebetween prior to ultrasonic welding.

    摘要: A continuous rotary filling and packaging machine covers a container body with a molded lid and ultrasonically seals the container body. The molded lid to produce a sealed container includes a lid detecting device 70 disposed on the downstream side of the lid supplying device 60 and an ultrasonic sealing device 100 including lifting and lowering means including a cam mechanism for lifting and lowering a container table 103. The lifting and lowering means is configured such that the molded lid on the container body and a seal working surface of an ultrasonic horn 108 come into press-contact with each other at a top dead point of the container table. A container table lowering control mechanism does not lift, to the top dead point, a container table of a container whose container body does not have the molded lid placed thereon or properly placed thereon as determined.

The bent side bands of the strip are folded over the constricted mesh the materials forming the folded strip and the constricted mesh melt. One or several attachment sections between the folded strip and the constricted mesh along the compressed portions of the mesh and of the strip are determined.

    摘要: A welding system for heat welding a component to the contact surface workpiece is provided with a carriage and a component holding positioning unit and workpiece melting unit. The component holding unit and workpiece melting unit each include a respective hooked-shaped holding arm assembly and an associated support assembly used to secure and movably mount the holding arm assembly and an associated support assembly used to secure and movably mounted the holding arm assembly to the carriage. A heating or welding unit is mounted towards a distal end of the holding arm assembly, and which is operable to melt the contact surface when moved thereagainst. The component holding unit is provided with a component holder operable to fixedly grasp or release the selected component in its mounting to the workpiece. The carriage is provided for rotatable movement relative to a rotation axis to selectively move the component holding unit and workpiece melting units between melt operations position, wherein the heating or welding unit is brought into contact with the workpiece and activated to soften or partially melt the contact surface in advance of the component being moved thereagainst; and a fixture placement position, where the component holder moves the component into juxtaposition with the softened contact surface to cool and fuse with the workpiece.
