Abstract:
Disclosed is an anisotropic conductive sheet which is equipped with an insulating base portion and a plurality of conductive portions extending through the base portion in a thickness direction thereof, which easily allows temporary fixation at a time of attachment thereof, and which, if pressurized, causes no adhesive material to be squeezed out onto the conductive contacts. An anisotropic conductive sheet includes a base portion and conductive portions exposed therethrough to form conductive contacts, with at least one of surfaces of the base portion having an adhesive portion spaced apart from the conductive contacts.

A vertical-type electric contactor connected to a bump of an electric contactor is provided. The vertical-type electric contactor includes a support beam, vertically bonded with the bump, in which at least two elastic parts are spaced apart from each other; a fixed part disposed at the bottom end of the support beam for fixing the support beam; and a tip part disposed at the bottom end of the fixed part, the tip part and the fixed part being a single body. According to the vertical-type electric contactor, a reaction force generated at a tip part is effectively distributed to test electric devices without damage of the vertical-type electric contactor.
Abstract:
A dual interface separable insulated connector comprising a faraday cage molded over a bus bar for use in an electric power system and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The faraday cage can be disposed within a semi-conductive shell. The configuration of the separable insulated connector can provide for easier bonding between the faraday cage and insulating material. Additionally, the configuration can eliminate or reduce the need to coat the bus bar with an adhesive agent and to smooth the metal bus bar to remove burrs, other irregularities, and sharp corners from the bar. Manufacturing the dual interface separable insulated connector can include molding a semi-conductive rubber faraday cage over a conductive bus bar, inserting the faraday cage into a shell, and injecting insulating material between the faraday cage and shell.
Abstract:
In a method and devices for forming a temporary electrical contact to a solar cell for testing purposes, probes form a contact to the electrode terminals of a solar cell held by a sample holder. The probes are held by a probe holder and exhibit an elastic, electrically conductive contact element and at least one reference sensor. In order to form a contact, the solar cell and the probes are positioned in relation to each other, and then a probe is placed on an electrode terminal of the solar cell. To this end, a feed motion of the probe is carried out until a reference sensor of the probe generates a reference signal upon reaching a predefined distance. Then the feed motion is continued by a predefined path that goes beyond the contact element making contact with the electrode terminal, in order to carry out an overtravel.
Abstract:
An electrical connector (100) includes a first insulative housing (1), a second insulative housing (2), a soldering contact (4) positioned in the second insulative housing (2) for electrically connecting with a circuit substrate and an electrical contact (3) made of wire, the electrical contact (3) comprising a first retention portion (31) positioned in the first insulative housing (1) with a contacting portion (311) extending beyond the first insulative housing (1) for electrically connecting to an electronic package, a spring portion (32) and a second retention portion (33) positioned in the second insulative housing (2) connected with the soldering contact (4), when the electrical contact (3) is pressed down by the electronic package, the spring portion (32) expanded outwardly and the electrical contact (3) only moves along up-to-down direction, thus make the contacting portion (311) engages with the electronic package with minimal wiping length.
Abstract:
A socket includes an insulating elastomeric sheet having a penetration hole, metal circuits formed on at least one of the front and rear surfaces of the elastomeric sheet, and a through-hole having a metal film formed on an inner wall of the penetration hole. The metal circuit on the front surface of the elastomeric sheet is electrically connected to the metal circuit on the rear surface of the elastomeric sheet via the through-hole. With such a configuration of the socket, it is possible to provide a socket contact terminal and a semiconductor device having the same, which is suitable for low-resistance, large-current, and high-speed configurations.

Abstract:
Thinning and stacking are essential for circuit modules used for mobile devices of various kinds, smart cards, memory cards and the like. These demands make the manufacture of the circuit modules more complicated or less reliable due to delamination. A circuit module of a multilayer structure is provided which is formed by embedding semiconductor chips and passive components in a sheet made from a thermoplastic resin; folding a module sheet, which is formed of circuit blocks provided with wiring patterns thereon, at the boundaries of the circuit blocks so as to be stacked into layers; and thermal-bonding and integrating the module sheet by applying heat and pressure. As a result, a highly reliable circuit module can be manufactured in a simple manner.
Abstract:
An electrical disconnect has a pair of selectably engageable enclosures each including a housing and a cap and one or more terminals supported therein. The terminals each have spring fingers at outer ends opposite wire ports in the cap to receive a stripped end of a wire in a push-in engagement. One terminal has a male blade and the other terminal has a female blade at forward ends thereof. The blades are releasably engageable in overlapping relation in an engagement zone. The housings have wire receiving receptacles therein which reside in the engagement zone when the enclosures are joined. A terminal holder biases the overlapping blades into contact with one another. The terminals are arcuately spaced about 120° from one another in a plane transverse to the longitudinal axis of the connector.
Abstract:
An anisotropically conductive connector, and applications thereof, by which good conductivity is retained over a long period of time even when it is used in electrical inspection of a plurality of integrated circuits formed on a wafer repeatedly over a great number of times, and thus high durability and long service life are achieved. The anisotropically conductive connector includes elastic anisotropically conductive films, in each of which a plurality of conductive parts for connection containing conductive particles and extending in a thickness-wise direction of the film are formed. The conductive particles contained in the conductive parts for connection in the anisotropically conductive connector are obtained by laminating surfaces of core particles exhibiting magnetism with a coating layer formed of a high-conductive metal, and the coating layer is a coating layer having a high hardness.
