摘要: Disclosed is an active energy ray curable hot melt silicone composition that is non-flowable at 25° C. and has a viscosity of 1,000 Pa·s or less at 100° C. The active energy ray curable hot melt silicone composition comprises: (A) a mixture of (A1) an organopolysiloxane having an aliphatic unsaturated bond-containing organic group and (A2) an organopolysiloxane optionally having an aliphatic unsaturated bond-containing organic group, (B) a compound having at least two mercapto groups in a molecule, and (C) a photoradical initiator. A cured product and a method of making a film are also disclosed.

摘要: A composition, suitable for use in producing hydrogel polymer films from which biomedical devices such as contact lenses can be made, comprising at least one hydrophilic silicone macromer. In one aspect, a hydrophilic silicone macromer is of the Formula 1: X—Si(R1)(R2)O—(Si(R3)(R4)O)a—Si(R5)(R6)—Y (1) wherein R1, R2, R3 R4, R5 and R6 are independently selected from a monovalent linear, branched, or cyclic radical with 1 to 50 carbon atoms, that can optionally contain a heteroatom or I; I is RL—RP; Y is a free radical polymerization-effective hydrophilic group with the general structure: RL—RP—Z; RL is a linking residue from a non-isomerizable hydrosilylation effective terminal olefin comprising the general structure —CH2—C(RbR7)—(CR8R9)n, the subscript n is selected from integers from 1 to 10; R7, R8, and R9 can be selected from hydrogen and a mono-valent hydrocarbon radical with 1 to 10 carbon atoms that optionally contain a heteroatom; Rb is selected from a monovalent hydrocarbon radical with 1 to 6 carbon atoms; RP is a spacer group comprising a diavelant hydrophilic organic radical with 0 to 100 carbon atoms and optionally contains heteroatoms, and X is a free radical polymerizable group. The said composition can be polymers and films suitable for use in making contact lenses.

摘要: The present invention relates to a proton conductive nanocomposite membrane and a method for manufacturing same, the proton conductive nanocomposite membrane having polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) having a proton donor and POSS having a proton acceptor introduced into an aromatic hydrocarbon polymer membrane having a sulfonyl group. The nanocomposite membrane of the present invention has both the POSS having a proton donor and the POSS having a proton acceptor added thereto, and thus protons (cations) that are generated are easily hopped in an ion channel by means of hydrogen bonding, and thus ionic conductivity is increased. In addition, the POSS used in the present invention has a very small size, and thus hardly obstructs proton migration in the ion channel in the polymer membrane, and thus excellent proton conductivity may be enabled. In addition, the proton conductive nanocomposite membrane by the present invention exhibits excellent mechanical strength even though the degree of sulfonation of the polymer membrane is increased.

Such a macromer comprises a polydiorganosiloxane polymer chain and two terminal groups free of any ethylenically unsaturated group, wherein the polydiorganosiloxane polymer chain comprises (1) at least 5 dimethylsiloxane units in a consecutive sequence, (2) at least two first siloxane units each having methyl as one of the two substituents of each first siloxane unit and one first first organic radical having one sole (meth)acryloyl group as the other substituent, (3) at least one second siloxane unit having methyl as one of the two substituents of the second siloxane unit and one second organic radical, which is free of any ethylenically unsaturated group and comprises one or more hydrophilic groups or polymer chains, as the other substituent.

摘要: Aminofunctional silicone compositions are disclosed comprising: an organopolysiloxane having an average formula of (CH3)3SiO[(CH3)2SiO]x[(CH3)RNSiO]ySi(CH3)3 with less than 1 weight % of nitrogen in its formula, where RN is an aminofunctional group, x is ≧100, y is ≧1 with the proviso the sum of x+y is from 250 to 350; wherein the viscosity of the silicone composition ranges from 1000 to 2500 cP at 25° C. and is measured by a Brookfield RV DV viscometer equipped with Pro CP 52 spindle at 20 RPM; and the aminofunctional silicone composition contains less than 0.1 weight % of D4 and less than 0.1 weight % D5 cyclic siloxanes.

摘要: A curable organopolysiloxane composition containing a fluoroalkyl group is disclosed. The composition comprises: (A) an organopolysiloxane containing a fluoroalkyl group, having at least two alkenyl groups in a molecule, where 10 mol % or more of all substitution groups on the silicon atoms is a fluoroalkyl group, and the average degree of polymerization is less than 150; (B) an organohydrogen polysiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in a molecule at an amount where the silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in the component is 0.1 to 1.0 mol with regard to a total of 1 mol of the alkenyl groups in component (A); (C) an effective amount of a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst; and optionally, (D) a solvent. The composition generally has a high dielectric constant and favorable transparency. A cured product and applications of the composition and the cured product thereof are also disclosed.
